Like it was designed for an old television game. I get the idea...but you can't do that on a phone. The controls and interactions are not intuitive. Go look at other crossword apps. This one is sub par in the clue switching and entering but horrible in the menuing and finding options. Why is the hint buried in menus and called "help me?" Things you think are "cute ideas" do not help users when they are used to a thing. Worst thing??? When you need a hint to get the last word on a puzzle...it never tells you what the answer was! Seriously! Who designed that user experience?
