If you don’t type in the exact name with exact syntax it won’t find what you want. Once you type your title (cuz it offers no predictive results) your screen is populated with movie title that you better hope are not the same or similar. Otherwise you have to guess which movie is correct because there are no distinguishing information besides ratings. No year, nothing! The movie poster thumbnails are to small to discern anything but colors and headshots. ### 4/5 — Just what you need at the video store *2015-01-05, version 2.0* This app gives you at-a-glance search-based ratings from IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes - which is exactly what you need when browsing at the video store, kiosk or your queue. IMDb is good, but after searching you have to click through then scroll to see the rating, then (!) back to return to search - this app saves you all that extra navigation. Thank you Marcus! The only thing I'd change would be the size of the listings - a bigger thumbnail and slightly more generous rating result numbers would go a long way to making this a five star app. ### 1/5 — No rotten tomatoes review *2014-11-08, version 1.31* Only shows reviews for imdb ### 4/5 — Very good! *2014-08-24* This app is very straight-forward and has a large library of movies to see the ratings of. The problem I have is that I wish that the year of the movie would be given at the result page when searching. There’s literally no UI, the user experience is pure garbage and it one does movies, not television series. However the idea of this app is great so they either need to get their act together or someone needs to build something like it but that’s actually useful. ### 1/5 — 1 star because I can’t award 0 *2019-08-07* I downloaded this app hoping to be able view movies ratings on the move however I searched for 10 files, Top Gun, Descendants 1,2,3 and the mission Impossible series and not one then came back. Don’t waste the .99 that it costs and use IMDB as I am now having to which was free and has now never let me down. **Developer response:** Hi. The app is working again. Looks like the server was down, I apologize for the inconvenience. ### 1/5 — Absolute Waste of Time *2019-06-25, version 3.0.3* NOT CURRENT • FUNCTIONLESS • USELESS • WORTHLESS • NOT UPDATED for 9+ MONTHS ### 1/5 — Great idea but need a lot of work *2019-06-16, version 3.0.3* I was excited to see there was one place you could see IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes ratings so I quickly downloaded it. But not 15 minutes in, I deleted it. Great concept but not current. For example, i looked up the following movies and was amazed by what I found: Typed in Shaft, the Results didn’t show the movie for this weekend (2019 release more Shaft than you can handle). It pulled up all the old previous release Shaft movies. Typed in MIB... Men in Black didn’t appear Typed in Men in Black... all appeared but Men in Black International... I had to type in the whole title for it to come up. Typed in X-Men... Dark Phoenix didn’t not appear. I had to type Dark Phoenix for it to come up. The movies that were recently released, scores were not available (N/A). E.g.. Dark Phoenix didn’t have a IMDb score. I’ll continue to use IMDb and Flixster apps to get the ratings. By using those, I typically find out other knowledge I wasn’t really researching. Keep up the good work. I know by reading this review, you’ll definitely improve on what you developed. ### 1/5 — Not good *2015-07-30, version 2.0* Does not show any of the Rotten Tomatoes scores. Almost like the links are broken. Besides that, very buggy app that takes a long time to load (on wifi) and doesn't appear to have any maintenance or upkeep. ### 1/5 — Great idea, bad execution *2015-07-04* Doesn't load RT ratings, which renders the app useless. It shows the IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes score on the search page. Clicking a title opens up a description and allows you to go to the IMDB or RT page for that movie. It doesn't allow you to search/sort my genre, rating, or actor.
