Une app’ vraiment sympa, qui me semble complète dans sa base de données. La prise en main est simple, même s’il est parfois facile de se tromper dans ses recherches entre sa base personnelle et celle de recherche générale.
Mon seul bémol (qui est aussi un souhait dans l’évolution de l’app’), l’impossibilité de partager ses découvertes avec ses amis, sa famille ou d’autres utilisateurs de Movie Tracker.

J’aimerais avoir la possibilité de noter une description pour les espaces. Ça permettrait de donner des détails sur le style de film présent dans l’espace. De plus j’aimerais pourvoir mettre comme vu sans préciser la date. Il y a plein de films que j’ai vu dans la passé et sans pour autant me souvenir de la date de visionnage.

Pour la description des espaces, c’est une belle idée que je note.

Lots of unique features. 
One thing that I’d like to see is a deep link system to shows and movies like the developers’ book tracking app so you could launch a show or movie from another app — like an Apple Reminder or the system calendar app.

“Movie tracker” is underselling and over delivering. It’s the best way to track your entire watchlist, including Movies and TV shows. And it does this without compromising the app with intrusive social networking options that result in spam. Great work!

I just purchased this app and I already love it. Lots of options for organizing my movies - the ones I own, the ones I want to watch, and the ones I’ve seen. It includes TV shows so I enter the TV series we are currently watching and it will tell me when the next episode is due out (being old, we tend to forget which day is which show). I appreciate also that when I enter a movie/TV show, it gives me all the information about the movie or show - actors, plot summary, etc.

So eine tolle App. Anfangs habe ich mich von dem Preis abschrecken lassen, habe mich dann nach ein paar Tagen ausprobieren für die Lifetime-Version entschieden. Danke für die durchdachte und im Appledesign ansprechende, tolle App!

This is a superb app. Works brilliantly for logging what you’ve watched and what you want to watch. Full flexibility.

Better than that, is the devs who have designed this. They always respond to queries and give support. Genuinely helpful.

Love it, if you want to organize and keep ‘lists’ of movies you own or want to watch then just buy the lifetime - so worth it! 4 stars for room to improve; 1) series and order in series [we all know the titles and release dates aren’t consistent with storyline, especially so in Marvel or Star Wars universes, so if I can’t change the title then give me series/order] 2) next up in my watchlist [this is available for tv shows but if I can mark a space/list as currently watching then show me the next movie to watch] 3) order sorting in spaces [alphabetical is default but allow me to order the list in my preferred watch order, separate of the series watch order, which makes my second point more valuable] 4) if possible, connect to my streaming accounts for auto-tracking what I watch but don’t sacrifice current cost if this would increase the cost.

I spent the past few days testing out everything this Movie Tracker app has to offer and I am blown away. It’s the perfect balance of ease plus detailed customization. I love tracking everything I watch and being able to organize my backlog into spaces is perfect. Spaces vs smart lists are great options too because they serve different use cases for me! Just an incredibly well thought out app overall! (Plus I really enjoy the Book tracking app too)

The only reason why it’s not getting 5 stars (yet) is because there are some day to day use cases that I wish it had. For example, marking something as watched could be slightly easier or prominently displayed. Also, searching online is great but I’d love for more realtime results as I’m typing. Small but meaningful changes would make this app absolutely perfect for me! Otherwise, it’s a 4.5/5! Highly recommend the subscription or even the lifetime purchase if you can swing it.

Movie Tracker ist wirklich beeindruckend – die App ist unglaublich durchdacht, flexibel und lässt sich perfekt an den eigenen Workflow anpassen. Besonders genial finde ich, dass man seine Daten jederzeit als CSV exportieren kann.

Ich mag außerdem sehr, dass die App das native iOS-Design nutzt und sich dadurch wie eine echte Apple-App anfühlt – elegant, klar und einfach schön gestaltet.

Der Entwickler antwortet schnell und ist unglaublich hilfsbereit, was heutzutage wirklich selten geworden ist.

Für mich ist das bisher die beste App, um meine Filmsammlung und Watchlist zu verwalten. Absolute Empfehlung! 🎬

I really love this app, it helps me organise everything with the media I Consume. I specially appreciate the stats tab! The only thing I really miss is a way to check how many episodes are to watch, a counter for every show. And the app icon could be prettier. Thanks for the app and good job to the developers!

The iPad version is so troublesome. It does not help searching the titles from imdb whereas the iPhone does allow. Ipad version also not showing pictures and other info. It shows partially. Its so disappointing

Regarding your issue, the iPad version absolutely allows you to search for new movies and TV shows online, just like on iPhone. If IMDb results are not loading or images and details are only partially shown, something is probably not working correctly on your device and I’d really like to understand why.

Download with the hope of having a simple movie tracker, that was in till I found I could only have 5 movies in a folder before having to pay a yearly subscription.
I understand the need for the money but it’s not worth it for such a simple app. Especially for a largely unnecessary one.

Eigentlich eine gute App, aber die kostenlose App macht null Sinn. Man kann die App nicht wirklich verwenden. Man kann nur 5 Elemente speichern. Ist eigentlich eine Testversion. Dann sollte man direkt die Pro-Version verkaufen. Free oder Lite Version haben eigentlich weniger Funktionen, aber nicht, dass man die Hauptfunktion der App unbrauchbar macht. Insgesamt sind 40€ auch übertrieben. Deswegen wird die App wieder gelöscht.

Ich möchte kurz die Philosophie der App erklären. Movie Tracker kann kostenlos aus dem App Store geladen werden, damit jede Person die wichtigsten Funktionen in Ruhe ausprobieren kann. Nach dieser Testphase ist ein Abonnement oder der einmalige Lifetime Kauf notwendig, um alle Funktionen weiter zu nutzen.

Die App ist kostenpflichtig, weil ich sie als unabhängiger Entwickler mit viel Sorgfalt und ohne Werbung, ohne Tracking und ohne Verkauf von Daten entwickle. Der Preis erlaubt es mir, die Qualität hoch zu halten, neue Funktionen zu bauen und die App langfristig zu unterstützen.

Alle diese Informationen sind klar in der App Store Beschreibung angegeben und erscheinen auch beim ersten Start der App. Dies ist die einzige von Apple erlaubte Methode, eine App kostenlos testen zu lassen, bevor man sich für den Kauf entscheidet.

Grundsätzlich sieht der Aufbau der App recht vielversprechend aus. Ich habe sie aber nicht gekauft, weil von 24 Filmen/Serien, die ich hätte anlegen können, 4 nicht gefunden wurden. Eine Möglichkeit, einen Eintrag manuell vornehmen zu können, scheint es nicht zu geben. Dafür fast 40 € für die Vollversion zu verlangen finde ich maßlos überteuert - selbst wenn man selber einen Film oder eine Serie manuell nachtragen könnte, wären maximal 10 Euro für die Lifetime-Lizenz angemessen. Weil ich aber das Konzept gut finde, werde ich die Entwicklung der App weiterhin verfolgen. Einen Stern gibt es nur deshalb, weil hier wieder mal ein Abo angeboten wird und diese Lifetime-Alternative viel zu teuer ist. Deshalb reicht mir das, was ich in einer Mediathek innerhalb meines Kundenkontos präsentiert bekomme, völlig aus! Den Entwicklern wünsche ich weiterhin gutes Gelingen und gute Gedanken über ein preisgünstigeres Produkt.

Really recommend this movie tracker. Easy to add tags, record which movies you have watched and how you rated them. The interface is really great with thumbnails of the movies.

Love this app’s design and ease of use—across all my devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Watch).

iCloud sync is a dream. Movie Tracker finds titles quickly and makes it simple to add ratings, tags, dates, and any information I might want to track.

From my iPhone, I can add any movie or TV show that comes up in a conversation or article and it syncs automatically to all my devices while also adding it to the app’s Upcoming releases calendar.

From my Watch, I can check off items I’ve just watched from the Next Episodes calendar.

Nearly everything in the app is configurable and customizable—from colors to what data is shown and in what order.

There are also Smart Lists, Spaces (i.e. folders), and tags that allow me to track virtually any combination of data points.

The developer is also very responsive and helpful.

Je cherchais depuis des années une solution pour exporter mes 2300 films en DVD/BLURAY depuis Delicious Library qui n’est plus disponible vers une application qui permette l’importation et l’exploitation de ma bibliothèque.
Movie Tracker est une teleportation d’un millénaire à l’autre. 
Facilité d’utilisation et surtout base de données très importante. 
Je recommande vivement.

Das Erfassen neuer Filme und Episoden geht denkbar einfach: Filmposter, Regisseur, Schauspieler und alle weiteren Daten werden blitzschnell eingelesen, optisch ansprechend dargestellt und zuverlässig zwischen Mac, iPhone und iPad synchronisiert.

Auch nach längerer Nutzung entdecke ich immer wieder neue, durchdachte Details und Anpassungsmöglichkeiten – die App wirkt an jeder Stelle mit Liebe gemacht.

Das Sahnehäubchen ist der Support: Meine umfangreiche Filmliste aus Letterboxd ließ sich zunächst nicht importieren. Eine kurze Mail an Simone, und das Problem war gelöst. Schneller und unkomplizierter geht es kaum – dafür zahle ich gerne!

Eine wirklich prima App, die ich auf meinen zwei iPads, meinem iPhone und auf meinem MacBook und Mac Studio einsetze. Allerdings ist seit den letzten beiden Updates beim Sync der Wurm drin. Ich muss auf allen Geräten einzeln die Einträge wiederholen, weil sie offensichtlich nicht mehr erfolgreich gesynct werden. Mehrmalige Versuche, den Sync nach der Anleitung zur Fehlerbehebung wiederherzustellen, sind ohne jedes Ergebnis gescheitert. Die App blieb auch Stunden nach Reaktivierung der iCloudnutzung komplett leer. Die einzige Chance war die Wiederherstellung über die Backup-Datei, aber eben ohne dass der geräteübergreifende Sync funktionieren würde. Update: In der Zwischenzeit konnten mit sehr geduldiger und sehr freundlicher Hilfe des Entwicklers alle Probleme beseitigt werden. Es war zwar ein etwas langwieriger Weg, aber am Ende war sogar mein Datenbestand bis auf minimale Verluste gerettet und alle Geräte sind wieder im Sync. Wie hieß es doch in der Werbung: „Hier wird Ihnen geholfen“ Vielen Dank auch nochmal über diesen Weg.

J’adore cette appli, j’utilise aussi celle pour les livres et les deux sont incroyables. Un grand merci aux développeurs ! Petit bémol, j’aimerais pouvoir personnaliser moi même chaque fiche de films ou séries comme avec booktrack. Peut être sur une prochaine mise à jour qui sait 😌
