It worked fine until the last year or so when it started to crashing and it crashes very often I might add. It also takes about 75 seconds to restart. I have a very large collection like I said and I rely on it to keep track of everything I own. I emailed the company with my concerns and never got a reply so my next step is to write a review. **Developer response:** Hello, I'm very sorry for your trouble with the app. I'm not sure why you haven't received a reply, Our intent is to reply to all requests, particularly for these kinds of issues. Please reach out again so we can try get to the root cause of the issue. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2017-06-25* App freezes every time. Spent 2 bucks to unlock and it did nothing but made worse. Waste off money. **Developer response:** Update: version 1.5.7 has a bug fix in this area. Sorry you’re having trouble with the app. I’d like to help with the problem. It would help to know what part of the app is freezing. For instance, does it happen when manually importing movie data, or when importing from your iTunes media library? Sorry again! ### 2/5 — Needs a update *2021-05-14* Program will not let me save a back-up copy to iCloud. Wish developer would look into an update to fix. Why does app take so long to open. Thanks! ### 2/5 — Seems promising.... *2017-07-11* This app seems promising from its primary feature of being apple to import items directly from your iTunes media library. However, every time I try to use this feature, it loads 1 movie and 1 episode from a tv series and then the app freezes. I tried closing and reopening the app to try again, but this doesn't fix anything it simply starts importing from where it left off and freezes immediately. I also tried deleting the entire library from the app and reusing the import from iTunes library again, but it simply freezes at the same point as before. If this issue can be fixed, I wouldn't hesitate to give this app 5 stars. **Developer response:** Sorry for the trouble you had importing from the iTunes library.. I have a bug fix in this area in version 1.5.7, and would love to see you give it another try to see if it solves the problem for you. Thanks! ### 3/5 — Good app *2018-05-13* This is a pretty good app. The Good: You can get a whole bunch of information on each movie or TV show, it’s pretty easy to use and it’s stable. This app will also scan your iTunes library and automatically put those movies in your list. The Meh: The iTunes scan will not include TV shows. You cannot scan barcodes you need to search for you movies. When you are editing what kind of media you have a movie on it would be easier if you could pick multiple at a time. It would be nice if they put in 4K Blu-ray as an option as well. On the whole it’s a pretty good app I just wish I could barcode scan in my collection and the saving process didn’t take as much time. I also wish I could get details about my collection as a whole like what genre of movies I have the most on, the actor or actress I have the most movies with. **Developer response:** Thanks very much for the feedback! Version 1.6.1 fixed a bug where imported TV Shows from your iTunes library were not saved to the catalog. ### 3/5 — Really like it *2017-10-11* I would rate it higher if it had a report or export feature. **Developer response:** Version 1.6.7 adds the ability to export CSV files for movies and TV shows. ### 4/5 — Like it very much! 👍 *2026-03-14, version 1.9.13* I’ve tried this out some and it seems to have the top features I’m looking for. I don’t need an account on some server, I can manually enter movies, I can export & import the data, and I can sort/organize in a variety of ways. I really wish it supported entering movies by scanning UPC barcodes. I also wish it had better integration with the themoviedb.org, at least on par with IMDb. I like importing from iTunes & that seems to work well. I really like importing from Plex, though I haven’t been successful either that {Failed to decode data for:Plex library directory. No value associated with key CodingKeys(string Value: "art", intValue: nil) ("art").: /MediaContainer/Directory/Index O}. I do have some nested folders, so thst may be it. Thank you for this & I’m looking forward to more developments and improvements! ### 4/5 — Could be better *2021-12-12, version 1.9.6* A very handy ap, but could be better. A system to link TV series to medium would help. Selecting one medium for a series and it auto links the rest of that season on the same medium rather that having to go through every individual episode changing the format that you own that title in would save a LOT of time. ### 4/5 — Wrestling *2021-08-17* I love this app but when I put my wrestling DVD on here it doesn’t put them in order of the year they came out **Developer response:** Thanks very much for your feedback. You can sort the movies according to stars and see which you liked the best. Currently using this to keep track of all the horror movies I’m binging. I do wish the TV shows could be rated once you purchase the full thing, and I also wish I could sort according to stars AND tags at the same time. We love this app to organize our movie collection that is close to 5,000 movies!!!! ### 5/5 — Excellent Suport *2020-01-06* I had an issue of exporting my csv movie file after adding over 1000 entries. I sent Jack an email and he quickly responded. He made some updates which didn’t work for me. I let him know and then sent him my database. He found the issue right away and he told me how to correct my database - one entree was causing the issue. Now everything works flawlessly. I didn’t want to have to type in all of my movies into an excel format one by one. Jack went far beyond my expectation in helping me. ### 5/5 — Probably One of the Best *2017-04-23* This program is great for Movies as it is easy to create a movie by typing a name and have it pulled from Internet. A lot of the options are there with tags as well. When it comes to TV shows this program can not be beat. I have looked in to a lot of cataloging programs for Movies and TV on desktop and this one is the best I have ever imagined when it comes to TV shows. It brings in pictures for each episode (has not seen any program do that before, airing date, etc). Your own ratings after watching a movie. A lot of search options. Ability to mark the movies as watched. Create a wish list for movies or tv. ++ more. This program is a must to see.
