Movilo Driver is the official app for Movilo's ride-share drivers. It lets you manage your daily trips, board passengers, track the trip route in real time, and close each trip with the recipient's signature. MAIN FEATURES • Daily agenda: see all of today's trips and the next upcoming trip highlighted on the home screen. • Trip creation: create new trips by selecting the type (local, courier, Justo Daract, San Luis), origin, destination, estimated departure time, and passengers. • Passenger boarding: mark each passenger as boarded or absent during the trip, with automatic timestamp and location recording. • Background GPS tracking: the full route of the trip is recorded automatically and kilometers are calculated as you drive. • Digital signature on delivery: capture the passenger's or recipient's signature at the destination to confirm the delivery. • Trip history: review all completed trips, including the route, passengers boarded, and observations. • Live telemetry: elapsed time, kilometers driven, and number of boarded passengers, always visible during an active trip. RESTRICTED ACCESS Movilo Driver requires authentication with a Google account and must be activated by your company administrator before first use. This app is intended for internal use by Movilo drivers and is not available to the general public. PRIVACY AND LOCATION The app uses background location only to record the GPS trail of each trip and calculate the kilometers driven. Data is sent encrypted to Movilo's servers and used exclusively for operational and billing purposes. ## Version history (last 5 releases) ### 1.0.10 — 2026-08-29 • Faster no-shows: the wait at the pickup point drops from 3 minutes to 1. • No-shows on trips leaving the plant. If someone doesn't turn up at the end of the shift, mark them from their row before you set off. Until now there was no way to record it in that direction. • Edit passengers after the trip has started. Tap a passenger to fix their name, address, phone or time. If you haven't processed them yet, you can also mark them as a no-show or remove them from the trip. • Pick the trip reason instead of typing it: Ingreso, Salida, Médico, Documentación or Otro. • Four trip types: Ciudad, Justo Daract, San Luis and Cadetería. "Ciudad" now covers the trips you used to file under Ribera. • Trips under 6 km are billed as 6. Also: trip time no longer displays incorrectly when the phone's clock shifts, and during boarding the counter shows how many passengers are settled instead of counting drop-offs that haven't happened yet. ### 1.0.9 — 2026-08-18 This release is about making trip mileage trustworthy and making sure no trip gets stuck. Odometer • GPS tracking now survives a phone restart or the app being killed mid-trip, and resumes measuring on its own. • Measured kilometres are no longer lost if you leave the closing screen: you can come back and finish closing the trip later. • Trips that used to sit as "in progress" with 0 km are now flagged on screen and can be closed. Manually entered kilometres • When you type the mileage by hand, the app repeats the figure back with thousands separators so you can confirm it before it is billed. A mistyped "1,400" no longer slips through. Battery • The app now detects when the system is restricting it in the background and offers to fix it in one tap. Previously the warning showed up even when everything was already fine. Signature • The signature screen now states where the mileage came from (GPS, manual entry, lost signal) instead of always claiming "GPS OK".
