Now there’s no security for the service providers. No penalties for customers that book and cancel without warning. Business model is centered around making sure they get their money. Our crew arrived on time, the customer was approximately one hour late, and then chose to cancel the job. We were ready to perform the work, but still received a provider-caused cancellation. I could not find any policy explaining how waiting time is handled. As independent businesses, we invest in LLC registration, insurance, equipment, fuel, and reserve our schedules for customers. Losing hours because of customer delays without any protection is frustrating.
