## What is MowerPlus?

Keep your John Deere riding lawn mower running its best and know how you mow with the John Deere MowerPlus app.  Simply scan your lawn tractor’s barcode to get custom information on your equipment. The app helps you determine the best time to mow, communicates expert pre-mow tips, offers maintenance reminders, and provides walk-through guides.  Ready to mow? Select “Mow Now”, slide your phone into your pocket, and MowerPlus records your mowing path, total mowing time, as well as speed and coverage data for your mowing session.
 
New for 2019 -  Get machine information automatically using the new MowerPlus Smart Connector and MowerPlus Hour Meter (see your local dealer for availability and compatibility).  

Note: The app supports residential lawn equipment such as 100 Series, S240, X300, X500, X700, Z200 through Z600, and many similarly-sized older products. It does not presently support tractor models numbered 1000 and larger, such as 1025R.  The app uses most recent product images. Some variation may exist from prior model years.

I have found this app very useful and beneficial to my record keeping. Easy to track when I fertilize or spray or aerate. Truly hope it’s not eliminated, the equipment mobil app doesn’t have map tracking.

This app will not update any of the instruments of of my X370. I have been working with John Deere to try to get it fixed so far John Deere has offered no support. Whatsoever they have given me a runaround since the day I bought it. It is so sad that a company like John Deere cannot put out a quality app that actually works. like I said, save your money because this app will not work.

### 1/5 — Still doesn’t work properly for an X380

I’ve tried two different harnesses and two different Smart Connectors and it’s the same result:  have Bluetooth connection two smart connector to the iPhone. The only feedback I get on the app is that Bluetooth is connected and key status is either ‘on’ or ‘off’.  So I know I’m getting connectivity.   No display for RPM level, battery level,  fuel level, or hours.  Gauge cluster works properly through harness.  I was hoping this latest update which stated fixing compatibility with some models would be implemented. Nothing changed.  You guys still have some work to do.

Again, I tried two different harnesses, two different smart connectors,  and different iOS devices to eliminate any hardware issues.  

Let’s go so that way I can give you a better review once everything works properly.  😡

I think this app has alot of good features that would be helpful but I have a Z760R zero turn but can’t find it listed anywhere when trying to add it.

The John Deere MowerPlus app worked great with my X350 but there was a firmware update for the actual smart connector itself via the app, and since then none of the features work. My mower connects via Bluetooth still and shows that the mower is running, but does not show battery, hours, fuel level or engine speed. So the it’s now useless.

This is a great app. It’s free and tracks your mowing. You DO NOT have to buy the tractor module to use it. You can keep track of your mowing and you have a maintenance log also. I saw someone say they need to add more options besides mowing. You really don’t need that. I live in Wisconsin and use my mower for everything from fall leaf pickup to winter snow removal. There is a place where you can add notes for mowing section. Also if the run hours get out of sync between the app and tractor, you can manually adjust it in the app.

App and connector were working fine.  Then an update came down on the connector via this app and now the app is t reading engine hrs or throttle.  I don’t care THAT much about the throttle but the engine hrs is kind of a big feature that isn’t working now.

I just bought a brand new John Deere Q865R EFI stand on mower and I was looking forward to adding it to the app to check all maintenance and mow history I can gain from it and it’s not compatible with the app yet? Come on John Deere it’s been out for almost two years now.
