I often don’t have time or forget to rate after each job, but there has only been on that was around a three and all the rest have been a 4.5 or 5 star! I was hoping to have the driveway shoveled. Within the hour there was somebody at my house shovelling for me. We are both so happy with the service and will continue to use them for future snow removal, and potentially other services. Just before the deadline for the accepted job; I get an email, “oops, something went wrong, we’ll let guy know when your job gets reposted.” ### 1/5 — Deceptive pricing and very poor customer support *2026-01-07, version 3.1* The app allows you to enter and submit pricing that it later refuses to honor, claiming “internal minimums” that are not enforced at the time of booking. Even worse, the system continues to allow the same pricing afterward, which makes the platform misleading by design. Customer support is defensive. If a price isn’t valid, the app should not allow it. Cancelling accepted bookings after the fact and blaming the customer is not acceptable. This company accepted a job (from pics and in-person assessment), did a terrible job and then accused me of “misrepresenting” the job when I complained. They did reverse the charge, thereby admitting fault, but the next day, sent a nasty email that I had deliberately tried to mislead them. They had the pics and the worker saw the job in-person - no one coerced them to accept it. And now I am left with the nightmare quarter-finished driveway that is worse than if they never accepted at all. HUGELY regret ever letting them step foot on my property. ### 1/5 — Violates App Store rules *2025-08-06, version 2.9* From Apple “push notifications should not be employed for promotional or direct marketing purposes unless users have explicitly opted in to receive them. This consent must be clearly displayed in the app’s UI. There must also be a way for users to opt-out of receiving these messages.” This app sends marketing notifications without opt-in. ### 1/5 — $12.50 fee for cancelled job. *2023-09-15, version 2.0* Brutal. ### 1/5 — $100 to mow average sized lawn *2023-05-30, version 1.9* They want me to start my lawn mowing bid at $96? Who is paying these prices?! One star less as you can’t really set your own price.
