## What is MozScore?

Your score. Your coach. Side by side.

Unfold iPhone Duo and give your music room to breathe. MozScore Duo keeps the score in view while Toots guides your next move: the hole to play, the breath direction and the slide, clearly displayed together.

A MUSIC SPACE THAT UNFOLDS
On the open display, the score and coach share two panels. Set Duo on a table for a score above and guidance below. Close the phone to find your current piece, session, coach and library in a compact home. The interface also adapts to other iPhone models and iPad.

READ THE MUSIC. SEE THE GESTURE.
• Scores and tablature for 12- or 16-hole chromatic harmonica.
• Hole number, breath direction and slide shown beneath the notes.
• Synchronised audio playback with adjustable tempo.
• Accessible zoom controls and layouts that fit the available space.
• Notation-only display for musicians who already read sheet music.

TWO WAYS TO PRACTISE WITH TOOTS
Listen to the score first to hear the passage. Then switch to the listening coach: model audio is muted and the microphone can analyse the notes you play. Microphone listening starts only when you choose to start it.

An illustrated harmonica highlights the expected hole and shows whether to blow, draw or press the slide. Advice is based on the score and selected passage: slow down, prepare a breath change or work on one difficulty at a time.

YOUR REPERTOIRE. YOUR PACE.
Choose a piece from the library or import MusicXML, MIDI and MozScore files. Select a passage, adjust the tempo and repeat it in a loop. Your settings and sessions stay on your device.

OPEN AND PLAY
No account to create. Included scores, sounds and note analysis are available on your device. The microphone is used for listening coaching; reading and audio playback work without it.

A score to show where to go. A coach for the next gesture. And the space of Duo to keep them together.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 3.3 — 2026-10-24

MozScore unfolds on iPhone Duo.

• Score and MozCoach side by side on the open display.
• A layout for Duo resting on a table.
• A musical home with your last piece and four direct destinations.
• The current staff stays visible with the compact coach.
• Illustrated harmonica guidance: hole, breath and slide.
• Settings and 12/16-hole choice available from home.
• Rounded navigation, +/− zoom and clearer playback controls.
• Scores open at the beginning, paused.
• Layout refinements for iPhone and iPad.

### 1.6 — 2026-09-27

More comfortable score reading on iPhone and iPad!
• Settings grouped in an expandable panel.
• Tighter spacing between staves and clearer staff numbers.
• New Passage mode: choose the first and last staff directly in the player using simplified selection lists.
• Play a passage without a count-in and resume from the paused note.
• Improved score positioning when starting from a selected note.
• On iPad, step-by-step zoom up to 150%, with measures adapting to the screen width.
• Larger, centered count-in numbers on iPad.
• Improved audio recovery after interruptions.

### 1.5 — 2026-09-26

More comfortable score reading on iPhone and iPad.

• Settings grouped in an expandable panel to give your music more room.
• Reduced spacing between staves in portrait mode.
• Playback starts from the selected note, with improved score positioning.
• A four-beat count-in before playback, with larger, centered numbers on iPad.
• On iPad, − and + buttons adjust zoom in 10% steps, up to 150%. Measures reflow to fit the available width.
• The current note name appears in score mode without tablature.
• Improved audio recovery after interruptions and handling of audio engine stalls.

### 1.4 — 2026-09-02

Choose your harmonica: 12 or 16 holes.

• On first launch, MozScore asks which instrument you play — 12-hole chromatic (C4–D7) or 16-hole (C3–D7, low octave numbered −1 to −4, like the Super 64X)
• Every tab adapts to your choice, changeable anytime in the player
• A badge tells you whether a score fits your instrument, and one tap adapts a low score to 12 holes
• PDF export fixed: it now opens the iOS share sheet — save to Files, print, or AirDrop
• More faithful engraving: pickup measures are numbered as in print, the author's line layout is respected, and the file's beam groups are reproduced as written
• Files whose time signature contradicts itself (a "2/4" with 6-beat measures) are now corrected the way an engraver would

### 1.3 — 2026-08-30

Better engraving, smoother reading.

• Improved notation: altered notes are now written as flats (Bb, Eb…) in C major — more natural to read on harmonica
• The Low / Mid / High buttons now preserve your melody: phrases are transposed as a whole, never note by note
• The tempo written in your MusicXML files is now respected on import
• No more empty staves: long rests condense into a single measure, just like real sheet music
• One consistent display size from start to finish — tab numbers always stay readable
• The PDF button found its place above the score: no more accidental exports while tapping notes
• Smoother scrolling during long sessions
