### 1/5 — New app is incredibly less robust

*2025-12-13, version 1.3*

First of all, the original designer of the old app is very responsive and helpful. Apparently there was a rapid transition to this new app and many of the features were lost. The main features I enjoy are not on the new app. I need the advanced training features that were on the previous app and the community comparison that I use every week I will give some time to see if the old features transition to the new app but if not, I will be canceling my subscription. it is really a shame. The old app was very good.

### 1/5 — Why can’t you make it look like the old app?

*2025-12-13, version 1.3*

The old app was great. I understand Peloton made changes which made the old app unusable. Why not just update the old app for the new Peloton protocols? Everyone liked the visuals and data in the old app. The new one is horrible.

### 5/5 — There is no other app that compares

*2025-12-09, version 1.3*

I will say that I think the change over from the old app to the new one was not handled well. At all. Especially once we fully knew Peloton was going to stop communicating with the old app and it was going away imminently. They still allowed renewals/purchases of the old app and didn’t provide communication outside of the Facebook group, which wasn’t appropriate. That said, there is no other app that compares to mPaceline and if you’re in the Facebook community group, the developer is extremely responsive (he also answers emails). The live tracking and availability of metrics is amazing. It lets me ride Power Zones on my non-Peloton bike and converts Peloton resistance call outs in real time and I love it for that. Once you get it set up, I find it really easy to use. There are many more updates coming, so I know it’s going to be great again. Worth every penny to me!

### 3/5 — Great developer, but a big step down from previous version - hoping for improvements!

*2025-12-09, version 1.2*

I’m assuming that Peloton’s changes forced the rapid creation of this new version, and I appreciate that it’s now using an official Peloton API and therefore likely to be durable. But it feels like a big step down from the previous version. For now, I lost much of the value of my annual subscription for the prior version when it was suddenly removed from the App Store with no notice, much less refunds. On top of that, this new version has a much clunkier interface and so far seems much less feature-rich. The developer has done great things for the user community in the past, so I hope to see major updates to the UX (if not a total restoration of the old interface and capability set!) and to be able to update this with a 5-star review when/if that happens.

### 1/5 — Bad experience

*2025-12-08, version 1.2*

I paid for the original mPaceline app through August 2026 and it is no longer functional. No refunds and they are charging more for the new app that doesn’t have as many features. Very disappointing.

### 2/5 — No longer a great peloton adjunct

*2025-12-08, version 1.2*

What happened to all the analytics? Where is advanced training metrics? This feels like a more costly product for less features…

### 1/5 — WEAK

*2025-12-07, version 1.2*

The old mPaceline app is no more… this is no replacement. No communication from the developer despite my recurring subscription… I just learned about this when my sync stopped working. Weak!

### 2/5 — Replaced a old app no notice

*2025-12-06, version 1.2*

This app replaced mPaceLine which just stopped working with no notice even though it still had paid subscribers. Now they want us to pay for a new app that doesn’t have the same features yet. Poorly handled transition.

### 1/5 — Beware: old version stopped working and developer refuses to honor remaining time on subscription

*2025-12-05, version 1.2*

I have been a subscriber on the original site for YEARS. Yesterday, my bike stopped linking to the app. I contacted the developer, who explained peloton made changes and a new app was created. They REFUSE to honor the remaining time on my subscription saying they can’t confirm payment. I sent them the receipt!! Still nothing but apologies. Luckily I was able to request a refund through the Apple Store. Buyer beware, this developer will happily take your money without providing the services you pay for.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — FRAUD ALERT

*2026-04-07, version 1.9*

I paid for a one year subscription to Paceline in October 2025. In December, with no advance notice, they shut down the app and started this new one that does basically the same thing. So, obviously, they’re going to transfer my subscription right? Wrong. They developer literally told me that if he did that for me, he’d am have to do it for others in the same situation and that’s not “scalabale.” Well, yeah. If you sell someone a product, you ought to give it to them. Imagine that. Terrible business ethics here. Stay away.

### 1/5 — Trust is Gone

*2026-03-24, version 1.8*

I am not sure how I trust this company when I paid an annual membership only to have them suddenly start a new app and charge and annual membership again.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2026-03-21, version 1.8*

I have an annual membership from their previous version, which I renewed in October 2025. I cannot restore my membership via the new app, and customer service has been unresponsive. It’s too bad, because I really loved and relied on the previous app for all my Peloton workouts. So very disappointed to have paid for a year’s subscription and not to be able to use it, get a credit, or a refund.

### 1/5 — You can’t add or edit workouts

*2026-01-19, version 1.5.1*

Why?

### 1/5 — Warning. Subscription Scammer

*2026-01-11, version 1.5.1*

This company has a business practice of selling you an annual subscription then when they do an update to the app they create a new app with a slightly different name (pulse), then remove the original app from the App Store. This means that if your subscription does not line up with their apps update then you have lost money as the original app stops working. They then suggest the did to the issue is contacting Apple. Shame.

RED ALERT. Learn from my mistake. Paid for 12 months. Then the app lost functionality was lost and app disappeared from the App Store 2 months into the subscription.

### 1/5 — No subscription transfer & no notice

*2026-01-03, version 1.5.1*

mPaceLine failed to provide notice of the change to the new app and isn’t transferring subscriptions for users who paid for an annual subscription. They just lost a multi year customer here.

### 1/5 — Loss of Functionality

*2025-12-23, version 1.5.1*

They no longer import every type of Peloton activity. Now they only record bike, thread, and row. This is a major downgrade. I was a big fan of the original app. I feel this is a waste of money now.

### 1/5 — Pretty Disappointing

*2025-12-21, version 1.5*

The other MPaceline was so good. Mine stopped working and I was told that I needed to upgrade to this version. It has only a fraction of the functionality. If the intent is to get this App to function like the original version, at least keep the original version functioning until this one is ready. Bad move. You just lost this customer.

### 1/5 — Do Not Buy

*2025-12-16, version 1.4*

Subscribed to mpaceline for years, it was a decent app that helped supplement the data from Peloton. Then they created this new app, refused to transfer the subscription and then turned off the old app. Just another company being awful to its long time customers literally stealing my money. Don’t download this app, don’t support their terrible business practices and theft. There are plenty of other apps out there that do what MPaceLine does that don’t actively defraud their customers.

### 1/5 — Stay Away - Fraud

*2025-12-16, version 1.4*

They charged me for a subscription to mPaceLine Pro in November, then they discontinued that app and launched this app. I contacted them and they refuse to honor the subscription and transfer to this app. They are defrauding people like me who had a recurring annual subscription. I’ve contacted them to request a refund and will update this if they do. I’ll also be contacting Apple to let them know this company is defrauding customers.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — 5 year subscriber and this app is great

*2026-05-13, version 1.9*

I am a user of the old mPaceLine. Thought there was to improve upon. I was wrong. Great app

### 5/5 — It’s back!

*2026-05-03, version 1.9*

Following pelotons changes to auth requirements, this is the total reboot of the OG mPaceLine.

It’s indispensable for keeping track of my Peloton metrics and progress.

### 5/5 — Exceptional

*2026-02-07, version 1.7.1*

I am an avid peloton power zone rider who uses a Keiser bike. This app is exceptional in linking to my Keiser and peloton to create an accurate / well rounded workout experience. The training details are just what the serious athlete wants! Not to forget the amazing quick service this app provides with questions I have sent in. Amazing app and quiet with the price.

### 5/5 — Data for days

*2026-02-03, version 1.7.1*

The analytics just keep getting better and better! I was hesitant to switch over to the new app, but man does it deliver. The team is constantly looking for ways to improve user experience and truly care for what we want to see. Excited to see what they come up with next!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-02-02, version 1.7.1*

This is the app I use to track all my workouts in one place. Peloton classes, indoor cycling, outdoor cycling, walking, running, hiking, weights and fitness classes in the gym…you name it. I can download the metrics from my workouts into this app and track them without having to wade through a lot of bloat (looking at you, Strava!) The developer is very responsive, and this app has grown and evolved very quickly in a short amount of time. I am a happy camper.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-02-02, version 1.7.1*

Streamlined integration to use IC4. New features constantly releasing!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-02-02, version 1.7.1*

This app is perfect for use with my power zone rides. The developer is always updating and quick to respond to questions I had.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-01-31, version 1.7*

If you haven’t taken a look at this app you are missing out. It’s an incredible extension to my Peloton experience. Can’t imagine not having it.

### 5/5 — Still the best for Peloton graphs

*2026-01-10*

Look - this update was overdue. The previous auth setup was wildly insecure.

Now we use proper peloton OAuth and have a dynamic sync with Peloton data automatically.

I easily got a refund from Apple for the previous subscription, and am right back at home with this latest version.

### 5/5 — Give it time

*2025-12-14, version 1.3*

Poor reviews of the earlier versions are unfair, IMO. Peloton pulled the rug out from under developers and radically changed their programming interface. MPaceLine needed a full rewrite, so the earlier versions of this new app lacked the more advanced features of the old app. Meg Software seems to be restoring features at a good pace, so hang in there.
