### 2/5 — Buyer Beware

*2025-12-01*

While you can still buy this app and a subscription within it, be aware that the developer has released a new app (with the same features) that also charges a subscription fee to use all the features. The developer says at some point the first app won’t work and you’ll lose any money you paid for your subscription. Apple, nor the developer, will not issue any refund for a subscription purchased with this app. This may be considered a deceptive practice so be aware. The app does work as promised, but support for some features may end unexpectedly.

### 4/5 — Swim workouts

*2024-03-01, version 3.9.5*

It would be wonderful if you could add swimming workouts to this tool. It’s a great tool but non of my Apple swim workouts get transferred in.

### 3/5 — Good App needs to make a simple fix

*2023-10-26*

Pretty good app with lots of useful metrics. My one complaint and it seems so simple to fix is update the instructors list. I wish I could get accurate data related ti what I do with various coaches but the list is missing so many of the instructors it’s basically useless. Most of my exercises just get recorded as “multiple instructors” and that done by me manually. Please make that one simple fix

### 2/5 — Stopped working

*2023-08-04*

I’m a Pro subscriber. Was away on vacation for 3 weeks. Now the app won’t let me start a workout unless I create a Peloton account. I ride a Keiser bike. This wasn’t an issue 3 weeks ago. App is good, but not very user friendly. Many features are hard to identify until the user just clicks around and figures it out, like manually starting a session. I have to click on the small blue watch icon at the top next to other icons. Needs to be more functional for other bikes besides Peloton.

### 2/5 — Can’t give it try

*2023-04-27, version 3.8*

It automatically downloaded old peloton workouts from 2022 so I couldn’t test it. I tried unsuccessfully a couple times using it with my Schwinn IC4 but now it loaded old workouts and wants me to upgrade. If I’d actually gotten to try it and get it to work I’d happily pay but not comfortable buying it before getting it to work.

### 4/5 — Does not save partial workouts

*2022-08-18*

This is a wonderful app with one glaring issue: if the Peloton server goes down 40 minutes into a 45-minute ride and mPaceLine is unable to sync with the rest of the workout, it has no ability to save all of the data from your ride so far. You simply lose everything. In design terms, it’s unable to “fail gracefully”. This is such an obvious oversight that I can’t believe it remains in the app, which is otherwise thoughtful and well designed. And yes, it’s rare for Peloton to have an issue…but it’s also unacceptable for mPaceLine to be unable to save partial workout data when that occurs. (Yes, I have the paid version, and yes, I rated it 4 stars despite this massive problem. But this diminishes my confidence in the Peloton + mPaceLine combo, and it should be very fixable by mPaceLine.)

### 2/5 — Very disappointed in the intermittent connectivity issues of the cloud sync

*2021-12-21*

I’ve been a member for a while now and have raved about the app. However in the last month or two I have been unable to consistently link the metrics, using the cloud sync. I work out using my iPad and sync to my iPhone but the information does not show on my iPhone all the time. This is an additional feature that is an extra charge, if it’s not going to work consistently, I want it taken off my bill.

### 2/5 — Purchased Pro for Keiser M3i; not ready for prime time

*2021-11-24, version 3.6.7*

I bought for new Keiser M3i integration with Peloton. It is Ok for rising with Peloton as long as you do t want the App to track your stats consistently. I am not speaking about stats on Peloton. The Peloton app is not connected to the heart or M3i sensor.

M3i Connection is flakey, Applewatch heart rate connection is flakey.

I emailed support and received a small suggestion about Bluetooth vs Direct connect. I have tried all combinations. The App doesn’t keep the sensors connected.

Found others on Reddit posts with the same issues.

Beautiful screens, wonderful deep dive health performance stats, otherwise it would be a 1.

Will not ask for a refund HOPING developer fixes the issues.

### 2/5 — Crashes when importing peloton data

*2021-06-23, version 3.6.6*

Import health data first it it won’t work right. Then when importing Peloton data just keep restarting the app every time it crashes. The app has the data when it stops crashing. Otherwise I like the app.

### 4/5 — Updated Review

*2021-05-25*

I originally have this a 2 star review and wanted to update my review. The issue was not the app, but my bike. I recently bought a spin bike with Bluetooth connections and the metrics are good. I have to do some slight tweaking, but overall a great app. My only gripe, and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars, at this time is the fact that I cannot have my workouts sync across devices. I would love to be able to have the app sync across my iPad and my iPhone.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your review. Starting in version 3.6.7 you can now sync App workouts between your devices. To do this, upgrade to mPaceline Pro + Sync.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2021-04-27, version 3.6.6*

I never write reviews on apps... maybe I should do that more. This app is everything it claims and then some. Gives you ALL the metrics you need I order to keep improving yourself. Amazing!

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2021-04-21, version 3.6.6*

The latest changes to integrate Keiser M3i has been a game changer for me. Love having metrics while I ride and graphs to measure progress.

### 5/5 — Game changer for Peloton app riders!

*2021-03-26, version 3.6.5*

This app totally changes my experience as a Peloton app rider on my Schwinn IC4 bike! Thank you so much for creating it!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Have things changed?

*2025-03-15, version 3.9.5*

Do you now have to pay more to get Power Zone data? I haven’t gotten anything for a few rides…

### 1/5 — Can’t end workouts on Apple Watch.

*2023-11-17, version 3.9.2*

I’ve been using MPaceLine for many years. I’m a paid yearly subscriber as well, that’s how much I like the app. Unfortunately, I can no longer end workouts using an Apple Watch. I have this problem on multiple Apple Watches too. I’ve reached out to support, and they say they’re aware of it and working on a fix. As of now, I no longer use the app. Hopefully a fix is in the works & it will be a five star rating again.

### 1/5 — Lagging/Freezing Make It Unusable

*2023-10-25, version 3.9.2*

App lags and freezes making it unusable. Very disappointing.

### 1/5 — Shame the trial is so restrictive

*2023-01-11, version 3.8*

Downloaded the app & imported rides from my peloton, tried to download my full catalog filling the 25 allocated for a trial, I then saw a delete option so figured I could delete older rides to see my newer ones…but in the trial version you are only allowed 5 deletes.
So now after using my 5 deletes and the import dragging a bunch of older stuff through the app is only any good for viewing those 25 so what’s the point?
Might’ve payed for the pro if it was a flat fee but another subscription - no thanks.

### 1/5 — What about Non-peloton folks?

*2022-02-06, version 3.7.1*

I understand this app is designed mainly for Peloton users but it obviously is being used by people who don’t ride with Peloton, which is why the instructions for this app are so frustrating to read. To preface, I use a Keiser m3i with Apple fitness+ and I only use this app to store and analyze data from the Keiser computer. Okay, now for the issues. The app’s connection to the m3i is flakey. Sometimes it stays connected, sometimes not. An app that records half a ride is about as useless as no app at all. At least then you know to write down your stats before you forget instead of being sorely disappointed when you open the app to review your 1 hour ride and you find only 15 minutes of data. What is the difference between Pro & Pro with sync? Sure, the app says something, but the description is clear as mud. What exactly does the Watch app do and what can it not do? If I start a workout on the Watch, will the app still connect to my Keiser m3i? What must someone do to get their workouts synced between iPhone and iPad? If nothing, what is the point of the iPad app? I read somewhere that there is an active FB group where developers provide help, which again is mind boggling because…FB. Can I remove the Welcome screen on the home page? As useful as this app is, it could be even better if someone would just take some time to write clear instructions. Since the app is also designed to be used by and is being used by non-Peloton riders, then those people should be catered to. We are out there and are paying you, don’t ignore us.

### 1/5 — mCrashLine

*2021-07-23*

I really like this app, it has truly come a long way from its beginning and is worthy of Five Stars. When it works, it’s amazing! I would love to tell you about the great features it has to offer, basically turns any bike with a power meter into a Peloton Bike. Unfortunately lately it has crashed and lost my ride data more times then it has logged it. Developer does not ask any questions when I have inquired about the crashing. What equipment am I using, is everything up to date, what about a debug report? Something would be better then nothing, at least I would feel like I was heard. 🤨

### 1/5 — Not importing workouts

*2021-03-28, version 3.6.5*

Worked great the first 2d. Then stopped importing peloton workouts. I press the import button, it says it’s importing but when I go to look at the workouts it’s stuck at where it was 3d ago. All the workouts are >20 min so should get imported. I’ve tried several days in a row and no new workouts are pulled in. It was a nice app for the 2d that it worked.

### 1/5 — Full of bugs, looking for alternatives

*2021-02-17*

I’m a pro subscriber. Most of the post workout data is missing. Can’t export workouts. App crashes. New cadence metrics are totally inaccurate. Workout timer randomly resets to zero before picking up where it left off. Things are actually getting worse with app updates.

The only redeeming feature of this app is the workout screen which actually shows all of the correct data, with the exception of cadence which displays in the thousands and gradually reduces - this is a new “feature” as of the latest update.

Consider all of your workout data completely gone once you’re done with your workout. If you care about reviewing your historical workout data, definitely look elsewhere.

### 1/5 — Overly complicated

*2020-12-12, version 3.5*

And doesn’t work well

### 1/5 — Can’t even try it

*2020-11-01, version 3.2.5*

So I loaded up and chose the option to load up past cycling history. What I did not know was when 25 rides were imported it nullified my trial as max usage was used without even trying it !
Thanks, but no thanks uninstalled. I’m not paying a subscription without trying first

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — The easier part of peloton is the Pro subscription

*2023-12-08, version 3.9.2*

mPaceLine Pro subscription is everything needed to link my Keiser bike to the Peloton App. It has every statistic and metric needed or wanted. It always work perfectly 100%. Jeez, if only the Peloton app worked as well. Thanks for such great support and updates.

### 5/5 — Excellent app,

*2023-06-22, version 3.8*

Excellent history data. Very helpful. Can see change over several years. And compare key metrics. Thank you.

### 5/5 — New Peloton pricing = switch to Apple Health

*2023-05-23, version 3.8*

I don’t own a Peloton bike but I use the peloton app and mPaceLine and loved it.
Peloton are changing app pricing which means I’ll be moving to Apple Fitness (already get it as part of Apple One). Will mPaceLine work and integrate with Apple Fitness?

### 5/5 — This app is very Very _____?

*2023-02-20*

When it’s Works it works okay, there is very old instruction and never updated, per Version. Nor is dated. Bluetooth is flaky as a 2 Dollar bill at best. And when things go bad you have a fb Community and it happens often and to many. It’s good it’s Great. But i doubt you can get a season in without any eruption’s. Nothing is for sure. everything is a little iffy.

### 5/5 — Far superior to other apps

*2022-08-26*

I am a numbers geek that rides a Peloton bike. This is a must have app if you are a Peloton bike numbers geek. The ability to compare rides so easily and putting cardio and power zone training on the same graph is brilliant. And important is you can track your weight and fasting. All this for less than half the price of the most well known app that actually looks a whole like an Excel spreadsheet. All for a year at less than a family night out at McDonald’s. And a whole lot healthier too.

### 5/5 — Great app to bring it all toy

*2022-05-16, version 3.7.1*

Excellent app the brings in multiple workout modes through peloton and apple health into one place. Easy to monitor your data metrics for feedback, planning and progression of your workouts. This is what was missing from peloton app.

### 5/5 — Perfect App for Fitness Data Junkies

*2021-10-01, version 3.6.7*

Found mPaceLine app after joining a Peloton Power Zone Pack challenge. Was instantly blown away by all of the datapoints and inputs available in the app. Much better than anything I’d been using. If you value fitness data this app is meant for you. 10/10

### 5/5 — Fantastic App

*2021-08-28, version 3.6.7*

Tons of information, particularly for those of us not using peloton bikes. Great stats, easy to use. Love being able to see the graph of zones as i ride and to have the library of ride structures to browse through to decide what to do each workout. Highly recommend

### 5/5 — Fantastic app for Peloton

*2021-08-08, version 3.6.7*

As a peloton bike owner, this is an absolutely amazing app! If you like to see a detailed analysis of your workouts this app is brilliant.

As an added bonus it also allows you to search on demand classes and get a preview of the target cadence/resistance that will be asked for during the class - a feature that the Peloton bike has, but the Peloton app lacks.

I cannot recommend this app highly enough.

I did feel though, that the trial version didn’t allow me to get enough of a feel for the app, so instead I dived straight in and purchased a one month subscription to properly test it. The outlay is relatively small and for anybody who likes what they’ve read so far in this review I am confident you won’t regret it!

### 5/5 — Great tool for tracking fitness

*2021-05-02, version 3.6.6*

I absolutely love this app and the data it provides during and after workouts. Such a great tool for Peloton app workouts and Power Zone rides using a Schwinn IC4. All of the data and metrics motivate me to workout more often because I can track progress and improvement.
