Unless you want to upload only the most recent 30 photos, it is IMPOSSIBLE. The app consistently reverts back to the most recent photos regardless of how long I let it load, how quickly I scroll, etc. It is beyond irritating. It is infuriating. There has to be a fix. Please provide the developers the time and money to get this fixed. ### 2/5 — Terrible Application but Good Pics *2026-05-26, version 7.2.2 (7008)* I HATE that I have grown to like these pictures because the web and app are torturous to use. I have been printing pictures monthly for almost a year and want to rip my hair out every time because the usability is TERRIBLE. I would be throwing so much more money at it if it just WORKED. Unfortunately the app is just so frustrating to use. Recent update keeps telling me I’m offline when I’m not. Won’t upload photos. Makes it a waste of time and impossible to even order. ### 1/5 — Most frustrating app *2026-04-04, version 7.2.0 (7005)* The app is frequently glitching, logging me out, not saving my work, logging me out before I can try to save my work. It takes 5x as long as it should to create a photo book because of how poor the app functions. It constantly logs you out and then if you manage to get in, it freezes. Not even worth the hassle to have the app and then trying to order from your phone /safari, google, etc) is also hard. Bugs out, freezes, I’ll select photos and then it won’t actually upload any or it’ll upload 3-5 of the same picture. The app crashes constantly so I could not get past my first choice. The app every time I try to upload photos it never loads them. I have to close the app completely multiple times to get it to load. ### 1/5 — App needs work *2025-12-19* If I were judging this app on design and usability alone, I would have deleted it long ago. The interface is clunky, unintuitive, and feels like it was designed by someone who has never actually tried to use it. Basic tasks take far more time and effort than they should, navigation is confusing, and finding what you need often feels like a scavenger hunt with no map. That said, I keep coming back, and not because I enjoy the experience. I use it because the print quality is excellent and consistently delivers results I can’t easily get elsewhere. Unfortunately, getting to that final product requires patience, persistence, and a high tolerance for frustration. This app has serious potential, but it desperately needs a usability overhaul. Streamlined navigation, clearer workflows, and a more user-friendly design would make an enormous difference. I am so frustrated with the many roadblocks it puts in front of me. I would order so much more if this were more user friendly. Occasionally I have success and am so happy with the product. I don’t know why it’s so hard for mpix to develop a good user friendly app. It’s okay on the website but the app is so terrible. Not intuitive at all. Like why is it so hard to add photos to a photo album in this app? I created an album called “school photos” which include 2 school photos from this year. And then when I try to go back and add 2 more photos from last year into the same album, it’s not a possibility. Why?? Now the sale is live and my album disappeared. I know I saved it. It’s so frustrating! The cards don’t easily flip to the back and front to look at them easily and it constantly freezes!! Then it kicks me out of my account and I have to start what I was doing all over again. This has happened repeatedly. Tried to upload photos and create a new gallery so I could make a photo book. Repeated tries and toggling search parameters, nothing worked. Loads a small number of recent photos and dead ends with no ability to scroll or load more in the preview for selecting from my iphone. The user interface is also frustrating when trying to locate the product you want, the design app is the same - not intuitive. I want to support this company based in the Midwest but your app quite literally would not allow me to upload a single photo. ### 1/5 — Terrible UI *2026-08-09, version 8.2.0* Uploading photos is a huge pain. I can’t believe how awful and glitchy it is for 2026. I like the quality of my previous order from MPIX but it’s not worth the trouble. I can use Shutterfly and compromise cost and quality over it taking weeks to try to get one board completed for a grad party. It shouldn’t be this difficult. Do not waste your time. It’s trash. I will continue to use them and recommend them highly. That being said, however, the app is trash. There are many types of printing you can’t even do on it and it glitches all of the time. If I scroll more than three times to add photos to an album, it will jump to the top of the page & not allow any photos to be added in that session. It glitches constantly, won’t actually upload the photos, and keeps scrolling back to the top anytime you are trying to select photos. I wanted picture after my dog passed away to remember her and I ordered 11 4x6 pictures and one 8x10 to frame, they came in within 3 to 4 days and the 8x10 picture came out awesome!
