## What is MPVinyl?

Keep your records together with MPVinyl.

Tap the record on the left to photograph a cover, or open your collection using the shelf on the right. The app reads visible text and barcodes on your iPhone and searches for album information. If the front cover does not give a useful match, add a back-cover photo or search by artist and album title.

Choose the correct result, check the details and save the album with its artist, title, year and available tracks. Artwork from Cover Art Archive is used when available, with your own photo as a fallback. Tap a song to open a YouTube search and find the music.

Choose Norwegian, German or English in settings. Your collection is stored locally on your iPhone. No user account or personal API key is required.

Photos are analyzed locally and are not uploaded to an image recognition service. Album searches send text or barcodes to iTunes or MusicBrainz; artwork may be downloaded from Cover Art Archive. Online searches require internet access.

Album information and track lists depend on the data source. Digital editions may differ from a vinyl pressing, so always check the edition before saving. Covers without readable text or a barcode may require manual search. Music links open external services; playback and access to specific recordings are not guaranteed.
