So basically the app is useless. Utah is filled with Awesome people. ### 1/5 — Data Breach - Oct 2021 *2022-01-06, version 3.3.1* In October 2021, MedQuest experienced a data beach affecting 39,000 of their customers. — — They could have used this app to inform them in a timely manner or put this information on their website but they chose not to. — — It seems they chose not to encrypt your data either. — — Patient’s protected health information was stolen including dates of of birth, prescription information, medical record and insurance information, addresses, phone number, names of prescribers, Medicare number, email address, and more. — — They waited two months to notify patient then did so with a mass bulk mail. In that letter, they made no apology and offered one year of free credit monitoring service…. A year…. This breach could lead to identity theft lasting a lifetime. I’d give this app and this company ZERO STARS if that were possible. — — Why they didn’t seem to encrypt our personal health information, contact their customers sooner, or offer a minimum of five years of protection is beyond me. — — And why Equifax? They had a massive data breach of their own exposing the data of over 147 million people in 2017. Yep, that’s a GREAT company to trust with monitoring your data. 🙄 — — It’s unfortunate, I like the customer service agents and they’re quick and friendly.
