I thought at first that you had to scroll to get it to pop up, but it does does it at random times. When trying to write a review, the app glitches and kicked me off. It’s really my last resort delivery app because of the navigation, but the options are great and the delivery has been great so far, so that’s why I’m giving it 3 instead of 1 star. If it was based on just the app itself, it would be a 1. An update to the app to make it more user friendly would make this app much better than the other food apps, so I’m hoping that happens soon. ### 1/5 — Has never worked *2019-02-09, version 1.1.0* I have attempted to order Mr. Delivery on several occasions and not once had it worked. The buggy interface makes you complete your order several times, or it will just never process. Mr. Delivery is much better off spending money on their App development than gimmicky merchandise giveaways on campus. Sad to see such a waste of time and effort. ### 3/5 — Sometimes You Wait...and Wait *2019-02-04, version 1.1.0* Sometimes, the restaurant doesn’t even get the order until a half hour after you place it. You end up waiting 1.5 hours for food that takes 10 minutes to pick up, because no drivers are available. Hopefully, it’ll get more popular, they invest more into the app itself, and more people decide to drive. However, Mr. Delivery does have a much broader selection of restaurants in my area than any of the competition I’ve checked out. It’s worth giving a chance, unless you’re really hungry. ### 1/5 — Worst service ever *2019-02-01, version 1.1.0* Drinks missing and those that were delivered wrong. Part of a menu item was missing. Would not deliver the missing menu item for the order entree. Offered to refund for wrong drink and missing drink. Would not refund for the entree that was missing a main part of it. Offered a $5 future credit. As if I’m going to use their services again. Will have to dispute this with my credit card company. Their customer service has no ability to actually take care of anything. Waiting on a service ticket return call... about getting the entree refunded off the ticket. So why have customer service that cannot do anything. Do not even bother downloading this app ### 1/5 — Terrible business *2018-12-24, version 1.1.0* Tried ordering from a restaurant in Bowling Green, KY. Payment went through and the driver went to get the food and then called and said that the restaurant would not give them our food. At this point it had been over an hour and at this point Mr. Delivery was closed and no food or refund. And they refused to refund the next day. Never use this company. ### 1/5 — DO MOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP *2018-10-12, version 1.1.0* This “service” its THE WORST DELIVERY BUSINESS I’VE EVER SEEN!!! It takes them more than one hour to bring the food to your place, no matter if you give them a good tip. It is AWEFUL!!! So unprofessional and they don’t check orders when they pick it off, so you can get somenthing you did not ask for and you are not getting your money back! ### 1/5 — Poor quality *2018-09-09, version 1.1.0* I had to fill out my credit card 3 times before the app quit kicking me back to the checkout order screen. Also can’t order from multiple restaurants, which is ridiculous. I also tried to put 0$ for tip in the app because I want to tip in cash to avoid taxes for the driver, but after placing the order I found that they charged 18% tip anyway. I recommend takeout waiter, if they’re available. ### 1/5 — Awful app - don’t waste your time *2018-08-04, version 1.1.0* It’s slow, it freezes & crashes constantly & the address finder would not work & only showed me restaurants from a state half way across the country from where I am. Plus the delivery fees are ridiculous!!!! ### 1/5 — Uber is better *2018-07-22, version 1.1.0* This app is by far the worst possible one to choose from. It is slow, glitchy, and constantly messes up food orders. The orders take a minimum of an hour and a half every time and I have never experienced more order mix ups than I have with this app (almost every other order is wrong.) ### 3/5 — VERY slow app! *2018-07-19, version 1.1.0* The app is super slow, but the mobile website works fine, which is the redeeming factor. Then it told me 6 times my card was not authorized, I tried my husbands card. Both were declined, they were typed correct and all information accurate. Lastly, I now have charges on my account for the food that I couldn’t order from the app. Awful, will not be using the app again. ### 2/5 — I use this service! *2018-05-19, version 1.0.0* But the app is years behind. The “map” never activates. Also I’ve figured out that my food comes faster if I tip 20%. ### 1/5 — Total crap *2018-04-22, version 1.0.0* The site is total bs.... I’ve had nothing but trouble. I work in a different city then I live in and the dummies can’t figure out the difference between a delivery address and a billing address..... ugh! It’s very buggy and seems like it should be a webpage on a computer, not an app. I entered my card information and it told me that it couldn’t process my order, but charged my card multiple times. I called customer service and after waiting on hold for 20+ minutes we finally got the issue straightened out. I was finally able to place my order but the food took over two hours to arrive. This is my first and last time using this service. Don’t waste your time with this delivery service. ### 1/5 — Trash compared to the competition. *2018-04-13, version 1.0.0* Just read the other reviews and I’ve all the same problems. An hour late after waiting 2 hours. Constantly messing up the food. I’m an iOS app developer and this app should of never been allowed on the App Store with all its bugs. The service and business are awful. Support is awful. There’s roughly a dozen other of these services. At least one other service everywhere this one is. I would use anything else or eat worms before using this again. On top of everything, I tip cash. I use to be a server when I was in college I know how that goes. And it FORCES you to leave a gratuity which is fine, but it automatically accounts it into the total, not allowing me to tip cash. Uninstall, use any other service as this is by far the worst. ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2018-03-25, version 1.0.0* We placed an order at 7:11pm and at 7:51 I get a text message informing me my order was canceled due to store closure. When we double checked store hours we found they were open DAILY from 11-9pm...not only did they have us sit around for 40 minutes before cancelling our order but also the store was open. ### 1/5 — Terrible App, Worse Service *2018-03-03, version 1.0.0* Save yourself the frustration and go pick it up. The app is archaic and the service is slower than a turtle running through peanut butter. I’ll be deleting this app and warning anyone against it. So disappointed. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Long wait times and Bad application *2021-02-13, version 1.1.0* Honestly I shouldn’t be sent on a scavenger hunt to go find my food. It took 3 hours to finally get everything settled but when contacting customer service they were not very helpful either. Whenever you try and enter any credit card information the application will keep jumping/reloading the screen. ### 1/5 — Super disappointed *2020-07-01, version 1.1.0* If you can use another app, do it. I set a time for a delivery, never got a confirmation, started a chat where the person told me that my food would be delivered a half hour early because that’s “the time I set.” I said fine because I figured early food is better than late. No I was wrong. Not only was my food late, but I started another chat to figure it out and all they could say was sorry for the delay and that in the future they’d try better. Then THEY ended the chat. When I still have no idea how long or where my food is exactly, and I’m the one paying for it, but they can just stop talking to me and ignore me if they want. There is no customer service whatsoever to speak with someone about issues. Won’t be ordering from mr. delivery. I ended up getting the wrong food and they couldn’t get my actual food delivered too me so they were supposed to give me a refund and I never got it. I called there customer service 3-4 times and they kept saying they would call me back within 24 hours and never did! As a good delivery app I feel they should deliver all over. The map showing where your driver is at is pointless because it’s always extremely delayed. It’ll show that the driver is at the restaurant when they’re actually knocking on my front door. On their website, you'll always see some sort of technical or design failure regardless of which web browser you use. You'd think the app would be free of such issues but you couldn't be more wrong as that also has numerous issues. When you actually manage to finish placing an order, the driver shows up within a reasonable amount of time given the distance and I've almost never had an instance where a driver didn't bring me what I wanted. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2019-02-10, version 1.1.0* The only reason we use this app is because of the options. The navigation in the app is almost impossible. I actually was leaving an in app review on how bad it is, and it glitched and kicked me out. So the app is officially so bad that it is a challenge, just to complain. On top of the app being terrible, I had a 2.5 hour wait time a few months back and was told that we would be contacted and be refunded and have a credit on our account within a week. I was never contacted. I tried the “contact us” portion of the app and it gives you different predetermined issues that you can enter, but you can’t edit it. Overall, it’s a terrible app, awful customer service from the people overseas that were supposed to contact me (although the people that deliver always seem to be nice) and decent options for food. If you have Grub Hub or Uber Eats. Just use them and save yourself the hassle. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Review *2019-05-04, version 1.1.0* The food was just a tad late, due to the driver having multiple other deliveries but the food arrived hot and the driver was pleasant. I’d highly recommend. This is an awesome up and coming company and thank you to Hayden the rep that I talked to while wondering where the food was. The only downside to this is that it takes a while. But you can counteract that and occupy yourself and it feels like a short amount of time. Would recommend if you don’t want to use a credit card.
