Wanted to try out his app because I really love his laugh and learn Bible and grew up with the details. This is maybe one of my first few times actually seeing what’s in the Bible because I only seen it once on YouTube and I’ve heard it mentioned by a homeschool mom and YouTube video. Everything is explained in a way people can understand and I love that. I love the way he explained about the end of the world and that it wasn’t going to be a bad thing like I originally thought it would be. And I loved the way he explains sin and now I know what sin is. I’ve learned a lot more from Phil than I have learned from other apps that I’ve tried for some things. like what they really mean by the end times and also what sin is. And if there’s one thing I can say also, he’s funny! being blind and autistic and not having access to Sunday school because I’m not a kid and having only taken religious religion classes at the residential school for the blind, I attended, and having read the new American version of the New Testament, I did learn some things in the New Testament, but there were some areas where I did not understand the concept of certain topics. It wasn’t the words it was the concept, and the big idea of the actual topic or chapter or verse. Sometimes it is the words. Not so much the words when I read the New Testament and don’t understand it as much as it is the concepts. Phil takes care of that stuff. And my favorite testament on a sidenote, I have to say is the Old Testament. and I was specially taken interest in the book of Leviticus and Deuteronomy. Since I started reading them yesterday and today. In my kids new international readers version Bible. thank you, Mr. Phil for helping spark my curiosity and making me want to read more. The What’s In the Bible series contains info that everyone should know but is not taught in church. I want to know about the different between ethical and ritual laws in Leviticus and I want my kids to know, too!! Also great for church history that is also, unfortunately, not taught in church. But it has not been. It looks like it’s a great app, but there’s no way to use it without a sign up button. Has Mr. Phil abandoned this app? Is there no one in Mr. Phil’s office to fix this? ### 5/5 — It’s phenomenal! *2021-06-09* My son has learned more in the year or less that we’ve had Mr.Phil than he has in 4 years of Sunday school and having a different Bible app when he was very small. Mr Phil does an excellent job at communicating his thoughts through a variety of characters, songs, and his own self explaining. The episodes aren’t too long and are broken up by different characters so that the kids’ interest is kept easier and extensively. I have a 4 and 8 year old and they can and are BOTH learning from Mr. Phil. Even I (in my 30s) have learned!! I have private messages dozens of moms I know telling them to get this app and I have not yet once regretted the purchase myself! You can have it on your phone and TV both! Please fix immediately!. ### 1/5 — No sign up button *2020-12-08* I’m trying to learn about the Bible in a cartoon type of way because I have a hard time reading and understanding the actual Bible but the problem is that when I click on the first chapter it says I need to “sign in” I tried going on settings and trying to see a sign up button but there isn’t one there or anywhere in the app. Please fix this because many people are trying to understand God’s word but they can’t because there is an error. I’ve also noticed that this app has gotten a lot of similar bad reviews of the same problem I am having with there not being a sign up button since august. Please just fix this. So basically this app is useless. ### 5/5 — Amazing Bible teaching for ALL ages *2020-09-19* Mr Phil TV is super fun and entertaining, while bringing a great level of understanding to the Bible and Christian life, with zany characters, dad style humour, and unforgettable Bible lessons. A book by book survey of the Bible presented in a fun and educational way with examples of how to live out aspects of faith in the life of the believer. Phil Vischer interacts with animated characters as he teaches them (and us) about the history, people and context of the Biblical accounts and how they play into God’s redemptive plan of salvation through Jesus. This is frequently our family evening viewing and we always learn something, whether it’s the application of biblical principles in daily life or an historical figure who exemplified that principle in action. Difficult questions are discussed and the unfolding of God’s plan, explained in ways able to apply have been an encouragement to child and adults alike.
