## What is Mr. Tapioca?

Your phone has a tiny boba shop in it now. The guy who runs it is a round tapioca pearl, and he would really love it if you put your phone down for a bit.

Mr. Tapioca is a cozy focus timer. Set a custom session from 15 minutes to 4 hours, or work toward the daily focus goal you choose. While you focus, he brews your boba. Finish and the drink goes in your collection.

The part that keeps you honest: real app blocking. Mr. Tapioca uses Apple's Screen Time technology to shield the distracting apps you choose during a session. Blocking is optional. Turn it on and those apps stay unavailable until you pause or finish.

Mr. Tapioca is a godsend! While completing a focus session, I felt secure in the knowledge that Mr. Tapioca was keeping track of time for me - so I was able to complete a meaningful task, instead of letting time slip away! I did not miss my blocked addictive app (IG), because I looked forward to the accomplishment of a successfully completed session. I can’t wait for some real-world boba rewards to be set up in my area!😋

One tap at the counter. Your partner reward used to make you wait for a code and read it out to the cashier. Now the card shows the shop and the perk instantly, you tap once, and it stamps itself. Your progress toward the next real reward shows on the finish screen and in Settings too, instead of being buried in the map.

Pomodoro. A third timer preset that runs work and breaks back to back inside one session. Your blocked apps stay locked through the breaks, so a five minute rest is a rest and not an escape hatch.

Study Squad went live. Turn on "let friends see when I'm brewing" and your squad can see you studying right now, and you can see them. The leaderboard resets every Monday, so a bad week is only ever a week. And sharing your code finally sends a real link your friend can just tap.

Your week in boba. A share card with your hours, your best day, your streak and the shape of your week.

He reacts now. End a session and your little guy is genuinely sad about the drink. Not about you.

Seasonal flavours. Pumpkin spice, peppermint mocha, cherry blossom and a finals week espresso, each around for its own part of the year and yours forever once you unlock one. Plus a weekly quest and seven new badges.

You can now turn on a reminder for when your drink is ready, even if Mr. Tapioca is in the background. Partner rewards on iPhone now use verified focus time and one-time codes, and partner shops are easier to spot on the map. I also fixed the focus screen layout on newer iPhones and cleaned up a few smaller bugs.

A whole new look. Every character was redrawn with real poses, the shop counter and all three break games are hand-drawn now, and break mode is an actual bedroom instead of a bed on a wall.

Fixed: Goal Cup progress no longer resets to 30 minutes when you reopen the app.
Fixed: friend codes actually work, and your own code is now shown in the Squad tab so you can share it however you want.
You can now swipe down on the little bar at the top of a menu to close it.
