This app was brilliant but it is in desperate need of an update. It longer plays the words (and I have checked  y iPad is not muted).

A great supplement to Spellbook 1. Great to use one-to-one to explain ideas and identify areas requiring support. Or just a good quiz that makes spelling better and speeds up typing too. Win-win.

This is genius-a perfect game to appeal to children to encourage their spelling skills.  Love the element of competition and it is fun, easy to use, nicely challenging and addictive! Can be adapted for younger children, as they can listen to the phoneme sounds and 'help' the adult to spell the words.  The 'treasures' the children can win for getting the spellings right just encourage them to keep doing more.  A real winner in our family...brilliant!
