I loathe the first of the month now, not for losing money, but because I have to use this app! I have to reset my password every single month and I usually start that process 3 days ahead of time because I know how much of a hassle it is. No reset email is ever sent on time. The new passwords never update and stick, and the response time of any support is totally abysmal. I hate this app. ### 1/5 — Useless app/website that property managers force you to use! *2025-06-27, version 2.2.2* Trying to log in to my account after each recent "update" is worse each time. Now it doesn't let you access your account at all until you enter a code sent to the email but I can keep refreshing my inbox and even check my junk folder and the email with the code is no where to be found. Can't request the code to be resent because it has a 500 seconds countdown that makes you wait for the whole time before it "sends" you another email. My bank accounts apps and websites doesn't makes it this difficult and inconvenient to access my accounts... it is just ridiculous! ### 1/5 — I HATE IT HERE!! FIX IT 🤬 *2025-06-22, version 2.2.2* Both the app and the website are horrible. The fact that some people have no choice but to use the app to make payments makes it even worse. EVERY SINGLE TIME I go on the app or the website to make a payment if gives me trouble. It doesn’t save my card info. And if it does it logs me out every time I go to submit the payment. It doesn’t save the checking account info. And again if it does it logs me out in the middle of making a payment. I can’t see my payment history. I’ve lived in other complexes that had an online payment portal and NEVER HAD THIS MANY ISSUES! This company needs to completely revamp this so it’s more USER FRIENDLY! When one goes to ask for a new password - no email in which to reset and no tel number. THE INITIAL FEE WAS 4.95 AND NOW THE SERVICE FEE IS UP TO $34.95 THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND I WILL BE CONTACTING A LAWYER TO LOOK INTO THIS MATTER!! ### 1/5 — Account Creation Broken *2025-05-21, version 2.2.1* Moved to a new place recently and went to create an account to pay rent. I cannot set up my account through the app as at the end of the account creation setup process, when prompted to accept the terms and conditions, after hitting the continue button I’m given the prompt that “the clickable area isn’t mapped” or something like that. I’ll try to set up on desktop now. Im genuinely shocked that something so basic like this could be broken. ### 1/5 — Ask your building to use a different payment system *2025-03-31, version 2.2.1* Awful app. Technical issues with adding a new account caused late payments. I use a password manager. I tried to reset the password and now it says I’m forbidden. The email you sent gives me my username and I’ve reset my password three times. No verification code ever sends and I have to call every month to pay rent. Changed the password like 10 times only to realize it works on the website but as soon as you try to login here, it is always unsuccessful. ### 1/5 — Trying to pay rent through MRI rent pay. *2026-01-01, version 2.2.3* I don't even give Rent Pay a star but maybe it's required. I have tried twice to pay my rent on Rent Pay and had it set up for automatic payment, and it has rejected my payment each time and blacklisted my name both times. I can't pay my rent on it. I set up autopay, both times it didn't work. This app sucks. ### 1/5 — horrible system *2025-12-30, version 2.2.3* I have been having trouble with getting logged on even though it automatically populates my logon information, it denies it then locks me out. their supposed chat support just takes you to the FAQs and then around in circles!! i spent 2 hours with my landlord last month just trying to get logged in to pay the rent!! this app is awful and you will get locked out of your account and unable to get any help! I’m facing eviction now because of the illegal practices of this company. I have no problem with it, I pay my rent in two part, usually my last paycheck of the month first part of rent then the first of the month payment because I don’t always get my first check the first week of the month. This works for me. I have been in the situation where I had to do my rent in three payments and it works, my rental office will add a late fee to rent pay and I pay it. Never had an issue yet. I love the app for the most important reason I can’t drive nor walk a long distant to the store for a money order. Cans, Ubers and begging someone for a ride to store cost more then I pay on line. I have to problem paying $4.95 to pay my rent out of my bank account or using my cash app card. ### 4/5 — Review *2023-10-29* App works good had to re install it after newest update but working fine now ### 3/5 — Extra frees *2023-11-17* Was told that if I downloaded the app I wouldn’t be charged the fee, but that is not true I am still being charged. ### 3/5 — Was great but now glitching and not loading *2023-10-27* This app was a great way to pay rent and look at your payment history, however something happened and now the application won’t open at all. It opens the sign on page for less than half a second and then auto closes. Idk what’s going on but I hope it gets fixed soon so I can continue using this awesome service and stop using money orders.
