Please fix ### 3/5 — Just onnnne thing *2024-03-23* On the browser version, there’s an issue with viewing text boxes in the character sheets of campaigns. On some sheets, there isn’t a ‘view more’ option for some of the text boxes filled with lots of text, like a physical description or a long spell list. Instead, the text just goes off into the right side of the screen, being cut off by the edge. I’m not sure how this would be fixed, but it’s rather annoying if you want to read another player’s backstory for example, but can’t since you may not have permission to view their sheet and therefore can’t open the text box yourself. If this could be fixed, I would happily give five stars. ### 2/5 — The colon glitch *2023-08-17* For IOS, if you put a colon in the texting field where you type a message in chat, the app will continue to kick you from the app without much warning. If you keep going back to said campaign you typed it in, it will become a endless cycle till you delete and redownload the app. A very detrimental glitch…please fix this. ### 4/5 — Can’t Remove Ads *2023-07-11* It’s really a great app, but the ads are extremely annoying. Fortunately, the cost for removing them is minimal. Now, something happened with the subscription, and I can’t remove the ads. It stays on the loading screen. Get that back up and working, and it’s back to 5 stars. ### 3/5 — Add the Campaign collective images back *2023-06-07* As stated above, back in the first format of MRPG there was a tab in the campaign where every sent image in that campaign would be saved in one spot so one could go back and see different character images and memes were sent to like a campaign gallery. That didn’t get carried over into MRPG 2 sadly and we’ve been missing it ever since. It’s been a sore spot for the app since eventually after sometime, the app will “forget” the image in any chat and show up as blank. The sooner either one of these gets fixed, the better. ### 3/5 — Good app *2023-03-24* This app is great! I love the way it works but it feels like all the good games have gone away and now it’s just filled with lewd things. I wish there was a way to promote better content. ### 2/5 — Bugs, Bugs, Bugs *2023-02-20, version 3.4.4* Even after being a part of first generation, there is still bugs that make using this app so detrimental. The fact that it force closes out of specific campaigns is ridiculous, and I’d be more considerate if this was a beta but y’all really need to get it together and tighten it up making sure this is better. Im still planning on what rp to do tho heh. I do wish there was a way to make items have images(like a staff that when a character uses it they can use the pic for a ref) and maybe being able to use images on macros(like a magical spell macro or an action displaying a image for a ref aswell), but honestly i still love this app anyways. ### 5/5 — they fixed it. *2022-11-01* the new version fixed a lot of issues and they patched the bus pretty quickly, just please allow full screen landscape. ### 3/5 — Please fix *2022-10-24, version 3.2.0* The new update is weird but workable but you need to fix some stuff. First off since it updated it won’t let me apply to any campaigns and says I’ve reach the limit that I can apply though I haven’t applied to any nor does it show that I have applied to any. Also bring back the photo album feature. It makes looking at character pictures easy ### 4/5 — Ads are annoying *2022-10-11, version 3.0.13* It’s a good platform but I wish there was a way to get rid of the annoying ads that pop up, and are distractingly everywhere. ### 2/5 — Last version was better *2022-10-02, version 3.0.13* I’ve been using Mrpg for a long time. It was great and Second edition added some cool features. But the new look and performance for it are horrible. I can’t keep it open for more than 30 minutes without it heating my Ipad up to crashing, can’t get notifications for some reason, and the old style for chat was much more satisfying. ### 3/5 — Nooo bring back the old look!!! *2022-09-29, version 3.0.11* We were enjoying this app! The new look isn’t working for us and is harder to navigate! Bring back the original! No update was needed! ### 3/5 — New update *2022-03-05, version 2.24.0* So as I promised Now that LFP is back I have also returned. The newest update seems promising and so far it is very similar to the version of the app I remember and loved. My only complaint so far is that it keeps taking me back to the “My Campaigns” menu any time I go away and come back be that because I wanted to look up something on the net or my screen timed out. I wrote a whole campaign description then got distracted and let my phone black out and all that I wrote was gone. Also it’s still glitching and crashing occasionally when I try to load images. If we can fix those issues I’d be happy to up the stars. ### 2/5 — Was great until *2022-02-23, version 2.23.2* App was alright, wish you could search for words and names inside of your campaign instead of having to scroll for days if you forgot to notate something. But it just started crashing and I cannot get back in now. Even after deleting and re downloading multiple times also restarted my phone. I can’t add new characters, I can’t create new campaigns, I can’t even send them feedback in the app! It was the first app I found with the function of having a chat box for each individual character. I’m really frustrated. At this point if we're finding campaigns thru discord then there's no point in doing the campaign through here afterwards. The only reason we kept using this apps even with all of its flaws and bugs is the looking for players. But when the update happened for some reason it said “error parsing message” for everything anyone else said. If it wasn’t for that and if whatever is happening is fixed I’d have rated this 5 stars Not only does the update mess up all the messages so I can’t talk to anyone but it also makes macros not work any more so I no longer can do anything even if I could talk with anyone ### 1/5 — It keeps crashing *2019-08-18, version 2.12.4* I just got the app and it was fine but then it crashed and kept crashing I tried to restart the phone and everything. I decided to buy add-free for this last stretch to give you guys a boost, but while the purchase went through, I'm still seeing adds and cannot skip them. I have no issue with simply giving a donation, but I just figured I'd point it out ### 5/5 — Well *2024-11-14* Now that I see the app is going down I'll leave my first-ever review and I hope they sell it to someone who has the time to manage it I've been a part of the same group since 2020 of positive people- yeah some are less active than others now that we are out of quarantine which I think led to the downfall of players (especially sane ones) but it is still fun all altogether- flaws aside its the best PBP RPG apps out there in comparison to what I have found so far we’re building a bunker in another app to continue elsewhere in case this really is true but we have had cycling players here and there that made it extra fun now we wont have that- we plan on sticking to the bitter end before we move over in hopes it remains open and running I just think they went big in the surge of 2020 and thought it would last much longer and be more profitable but it wasn't as life is busy and most DMs required alot of time over the “respond when you can” mindset that helped push players out besides the ones who would not have followed rules. It’s helped me improve my grammar, it’s perfect for all the things I love to do, and there’s literally nothing that can compare! If I could give this app a higher rating, I would. 5/5 it just too modest! This is the app I started dating my girlfriend on, and if anything happened to it, I don’t know what I’d do. Please don’t get rid of it. ❤️ ### 5/5 — Ad Removal Subscription Fixed! *2024-05-31* It’s really a great app, but the ads are extremely annoying. Fortunately, the cost for removing them is minimal. Update! Subscription fixed! Definitely worth getting the subscription for this. There are all sorts of RPs going on. Everything from Isekai to harem to regular DND. One of my favorite features is the ability to have an elaborate rp with one person, but create multiple characters that you can tell the story with. You don’t have to say “the bartender said …”, you can just switch over to that character and say it. Sometimes even having a dialogue between multiple characters you control is better than just a paragraph of summary. I find it much easier to get into the personality of each character and develop them better that way. ### 5/5 — It's good *2024-02-20* I have been playing for a year with this app and meeting new friends from different parts of the world ### 5/5 — It has so much more potential! *2023-09-08* This app is really amazing, not only does it allow you to make friends and socialize with people all over the world while playing in a campaign in which you all enjoy as a hobby, it also even allows you to personalize and make your own campaign! Though it could definitely be improved if you would just hear out my idea! From what i have seen, in more advanced campaigns with huge systems, stats, and overcomplicated macros it sometimes get a bit difficult to manage everything especially if there are multiple players on when calculating every rolls with blocks, dodges, damage received, with status and buffs. So i think that the app should make a targeted system where the gm or another player can roll a macro that targets a specific character and it automatically calculated the result of their rolls, as an example if player 1 rolled a nat32 attack and player 2 rolled a 22 block, there would be a message pop up that calculates the result (32minus22 and so on) this can be turned on or have other and multiple variations and i am sure it will be easier to understand than it is easy to learn to create macros. Another idea is to also be able to alternate and change the theme of the chat background, maybe with our own chosen photos, so that if its horror it could become a spooky creepy background and if its scifi-theme. Another huge thing, i have face so many problems in the app which is manageable but one of the most common and less talked about is “Chat Flooding.” Which is when it becomes extremely hard to manage a campaign because there are multiple players in one chat section. There should an option where you can make different rooms and chat sections in a single campaign, it can even function as rooms or dungeons. “Goblin dungeon” or “Forest” or “Guild Room” that would make this app 3 times better, and much more enjoyable! Thank youu! ### 5/5 — Wonderful app… but I do have one issue *2023-08-16* If you’re into RPGs and making friends that actually enjoy what you’re into, this is the perfect place for you. Im not much of a reviewing person but I have one thing to warn people of, and to ask the devs to fix. Sometimes, if you type the colon button (which is this one : if you didn’t know) in a message, the app will crash, and will continue to do so until you delete and reinstall the app. It’s a minor inconvenience at best, but it would be nice if it was fixed! :) ### 5/5 — Absolutely amazing. *2023-06-09* I’ve been on this app since 2020 and I am in love with it.
