## What is MS Beratung?

MS Beratung bietet dir die Möglichkeit, schnell, unkompliziert und von überall aus mit Fachkräften der Deutschen Multiple Sklerose Gesellschaft (DMSG) für eine Sozial- oder Betroffenenberatung in Kontakt zu treten.
Bei der Sozialberatung beraten dich sozialpädagogische oder psychologische Fachkräfte mit Themenschwerpunkt Multiple Sklerose. Bei der Betroffenenberatung beraten dich Menschen, die selbst an Multipler Sklerose oder chronisch erkrankt und speziell für die Beratung geschult sind.
In der App werden dir alle Sozialberaterinnen und -berater sowie Betroffenenberaterinnen und -berater, die momentan online sind und für einen Chat zur Verfügung stehen, in einer Übersicht angezeigt. Um einen Chat zu beginnen, wähle einfach einen Beratenden oder eine Beratende aus der Liste aus.
Sollten momentan keine Beratenden online sein, kannst du zur Team-Übersicht wechseln, in der alle unsere Beratenden aufgeführt sind, und einem gewünschten Ansprechpartner oder einer gewünschten Ansprechpartnerin eine Nachricht hinterlassen. Ist die Option „Push-Benachrichtigung“ aktiviert, informiert dich die App, sobald dir der Ansprechpartner oder die Ansprechpartnerin geantwortet hat. 
Die Beratenden stehen für alle Fragen zur Verfügung, die sich Neubetroffene und langjährig Erkrankte immer wieder stellen, zum Beispiel: Wie gehe ich mit der Diagnose MS um? Wie bewältige ich meinen Alltag mit MS? Wo finde ich fachärztliche Hilfe? Welche finanziellen Hilfen kann ich in Anspruch nehmen? Welche Unterstützungsmöglichkeiten gibt es und wo finde ich diese? Wer hilft mir bei Anträgen und Widersprüchen? Wie verhalte ich mich meinem Arbeitgeber/meiner Arbeitgeberin und meinem Umfeld gegenüber?
An der App sind die Beratenden folgender DMSG-Landesverbände beteiligt: Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Sachsen und Thüringen.
Die App wurde mit freundlicher Unterstützung der Falk-Stiftung für Gesundheit und Bildung realisiert.
