### 2/5 — Landscape on the iPad please!

*2022-06-10, version 10.7.2*

This app is portrait only. It needs to support landscape. It is difficult to use this app when you have to take your iPad off of the keyboard to use it. Fix it and I will use it.

### 2/5 — They will send you email about diseases you don't have

*2016-07-08, version 7.27.5*

I just got a survey for their Hepatitis C app even though I don't have that app (only this one).

The kicker? The name of the disease is right in the subject of the message so when it popped up on my screen as a new message notification it implied to my boss (who was working right next to me) that I have Hepatits C.

Not acceptable.

### 3/5 — Helpful but ...

*2015-02-02, version 3.25.1*

I like this app and find it useful. But I would like to add additional symptoms.

### 2/5 — Eh

*2013-11-19, version 1.7*

Not too bad, but frustrating. Only lets you pick one symptom per day (ha). I'll spend a while writing in health journal, but it doesn't get saved. Most of the time I forget that I have to specify "save" before I click to go to the previous screen (seems like it should save automatically). Well I finally remembered, & it still didn't work. Fix that, simplify the app, & make journals more broadly practicable, & maybe I'll try it again.

### 2/5 — Bugs

*2013-10-15, version 1.7*

I was really keen to use the journal, but it's not saving all the information I enter.

### 3/5 — Close to what I wanted

*2013-03-10, version 1.5*

I thought this would be what I needed. Being newly diagnosed, I was hoping to start off organized (and get everything out of a notebook). This app is lacking some important things. When I had my first exacerbation, I had way more than one issue going on. I need to be able to enter all of them. I can't change the dosage for the meds I am on and I would like to be able to enter injection info. At this point, I'm not sure this app is valuable to me yet. I hope someone reads these reviews and updates soon!

### 2/5 — Glaring Ommisions...

*2013-01-10, version 1.2*

maybe i'm missing something...where is the medication reminder to handle my 11 meds that i can in no way remember every day? the so-called "journal" is pretty anorexic...my exaserbations are weird & require alot more text/writing room. but the biggest ommision is perhaps the most obvious that (i think) should be there...where is the injection rotation schedule & reminder?? had to find other apps to take care of these issues & moved this one to the back burner. so, an ok app but really lacking in some sadly obvious ways.

### 3/5 — Almost there

*2011-11-23, version 1.1*

Close to exactly what I need. But, as others said, it NEEDS to allow for MORE THAN ONE symptom, mood, etc for the day. Also having the ability for multiple entries thru the day without affecting other same day entries would be fantastic. There are many symptoms that can come and go thru the day. This is the difficult part of getting all the info to the Dr's. I hope this change is made soon!

### 3/5 — Great start, needs a few tweaks

*2011-06-18, version 1.1*

The main issue with MS is having many different symptoms, areas of discomfort, etc. This would be rated higher if you could select multiple pains, symptoms, exasperations, etc. A calendar/reminder for when meds are needed would be nice as well as tracking the location where an injection was done.

### 3/5 — The App I've Been Hoping For (Almost)

*2011-05-28, version 1.1*

Long before I was Dxed I depended on paper datebooks, then PDAs, then smartphones to compensate for my MS-related memory problems. For the past 9 yrs. I've tried to keep track of medical appointments, Rx refill & renewal schedules, symptoms, my questions for my doctors & their answers. But no one computer or phone app completely filled my needs. Apple's iCal lets me record appointments, create reminders & sync everything between my laptop & desktop Mac & my iPhone. But I've had to record symptoms, questions for doctors & their responses in Notes on my iPhone that I can't view, edit or add to on my computers without opening up my email (where Notes are stored on the Mac, instead of in a notebook application!). Because Notes is unsuitable for long, diary-style entries, I've wound recording these in paper journals, as well as in text files on my computer. As a result, 9 yrs. after my initial MS Dx, I have a hard time remembering where I stored various records.

So I was really excited abt finally being able to consolidate everything! But it turns out I can't... Trying to record dates from 2002 on proved so tedious I gave up after the first try. Since there's no place for notes or memos, I tried recording them in the journal section, but couldn't prevent each day from being labeled "Good" or "Bad," regardless of whether I had any idea what sort of day I had when, say, I received a 2nd opinion on my Dx.

Basically, I think the existing features of the MS Manager are good ones. But there needs to be more flexibility (e.g., more than one way to manually enter dates, not to mention the possibility of dictation & voice control). And there needs to be more features (the ability to import text from other apps would be great!).

### 2/5 — Good app, needs tweaking

*2011-05-25, version 1.1*

Great idea, needs fine tuning though. Symptom and mood sections need to allow you to select multiple responses rather than just one in order to give a full picture of what's going on. Thanks for getting it started, will be useful.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Do not recommend

*2025-09-16, version 10.9.0*

This app seems worth it when you look at all it has to offer. It glitches and is not something I would trust to keep important information.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2025-04-25, version 10.9.0*

I’ve had this app awhile but haven’t use it in over a year. I have forgotten my password. When I go to log in it asks if I want to reset my password. The app says they will send a temporary password to my registered email so I can sign in and create a new password. I’ve checked everything on my end but I haven’t gotten that email that it says it sent. Very irritating. I understand I’m the main problem here as I forgot my password. However the app isn’t providing the fix by not emailing me a temporary pe as it says it will.

### 1/5 — Not for Australia

*2019-03-17*

Mustn’t work in Australia unable to register as info invalid prob to do with my email or mobile entered on trying to register. Is this app only for Americans?

### 1/5 — Login issue

*2015-12-12, version 5.27.2*

The most recent update most certainly did NOT fix the login issue.

### 1/5 — Worthless Since the Update

*2015-01-14, version 3.23.2*

I lost 4 years of data with the "update." App no longer allows a way to record injection site rotations, so it's being deleted.

### 1/5 — No news from the web

*2015-01-04, version 3.23.2*

This has taken away all the amazing articles about MS news and research! This app is GARBAGE now!!

### 1/5 — Delete now

*2014-12-19, version 3.23.2*

I just lost 15 years worth of data that tracked my exacerbations, when they updated for ios8. DO NOT USE THIS APP! No assurance data will be there tomorrow. No way to recover!

### 1/5 — Update

*2014-12-19, version 3.23.2*

This app was great at first. As I had just been diagnosed with MS, I used it to keep track of all me episodes. Now with the latest update and remodel, everything is gone. All my journal entries, medication start times everything.

Needless to say I am not a happy camper.

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2013-10-12, version 1.7*

Not very easy to use. Drug names and doses don't just pop-up or have drop down menu. Can't enter more than one symptom and entering information is time consuming and doesn't always save. Very disappointing.

### 2/5 — Completely frustrated

*2025-03-10, version 10.9.0*

I have emailed myself a link to remind me of my password/reset my password about two dozen times now. Never does it show up in my email, not my inbox not my spam. Yet in the home screen of the app there is no way to contact app support directly. I had to go to the webpage and I found all kinds of cool information about dozens of diseases, but could not find a direct link to app support even though it tells you to go to the website to contact app support.Super frustrated. Tempted to just forget it altogether. Not happy!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love it

*2011-10-04, version 1.1*

now i don't have to jump from one app to other to look at my records its all in one place. i wish they just fix the date counting on it so when i try enter my past records i don't have to rule the date count for a while....please fix it. thanks

### 4/5 — Nice app but please…

*2023-11-17, version 10.8.8*

Nice app but please add Face ID login

### 4/5 — Generally Good

*2017-09-23, version 10.0.1*

I'm happy with this app for the most part. It has general categories which cover what I'm experiencing most of the time. I have no clue how they are coming up with data for some of the charts however. The BIGGEST issue I have is that at some point in the afternoon it switches automatically to a day ahead. (I'm in ETZone.) Personally, I find this very frustrating.

### 4/5 — Very good, needs a little more

*2013-01-13, version 1.2*

Great app! Not sure why you can't edit journal or comments once saved. Maybe could add an alarm to take meds.

### 4/5 — Pretty handy 

*2011-06-23, version 1.1*

I like it.. I usually go and write in my day planner.. But not enough room! I like this a lot!!

### 4/5 — Good app!

*2011-06-14, version 1.1*

My only complaint is that you can only record info once a day. With memory problems, I need to be able to record symptoms, moods, etc. throughout the day. Other than that, I think it's a great app for someone newly diagnosed who finds it all quite overwhelming.

### 4/5 — NIce App. Good Function.

*2011-05-04, version 1.0*

Thanks for this, MSAA.
This is a nice tool for tracking MS-related symptoms, medications, treatments, and so forth.
It seems a little overwhelming at first (inputting data) but I think once you spend a little time with it, it becomes pretty easy to use.
I can see how this would be a good thing to bring with to doctor visits, because it can track lots of detailed info and might provide you doctors with a level of detail you don't normally bring.
Plus it's free!

### 3/5 — Missing a few common symptoms

*2020-02-16, version 10.5.0*

A good app for logging symptoms and adding a journal entry/notes for more detail. I like the layout and charts, but the app is missing a few major symptoms—dizziness, aphasia, and tingling/shocking sensations. If there were even the ability to add a few self-defined recurring symptoms, that would be awesome.

### 3/5 — Medications

*2017-11-02, version 10.0.1*

I don’t like that it gives me the schedule of when to take my meds. I am also limited by the amount of meds I can list. I haven’t used all of it’s apps yet.

### 3/5 — Helpful for some

*2015-06-10, version 3.26.1*

I was eager to try this new application for my MS. But I was disappointed when I downloaded it to find that it was complex and difficult to set up. In part this is a reflection of my own disease. I have many complications, many medications, many doctors and adding all of this to the app at once is a burdensome task.

I also have a simple system that works for me, So my motivation to start a new system is low.

This app would be helpful for someone who is newly diagnosed, has frequent exacerbations, and has not yet learned the meaning of all of the odd symptoms we get and variations in how they feel. If you start your disease with this tool, you are likely to give it a much higher rating.

I still ding it for its complexity and the minor annoyance that when you click for information it takes you to it's own website and the first thing you see is a request for donations.

Try it to see if it would be helpful for you. For me, I am happier with my single page summary of diagnosis, medications, and questions for my doctor at each visit.
