We are officially hooked on MSC. The ship is more luxurious, the staff are overall more friendly. We booked this cruise 3 weeks ago. The price was amazing (Flash Sale). Our cabin has a balcony and the staff on our floor has gone above as he remembered our names and cabin from the 1st moment we met. The same personal attention is happening in the dining room restaurant. This ship is enormous, but has a small ship appeal. I hear staff saying “ welcome family”. Everything is clean. There are hand washing stations at the entrance of the buffet. We plan on being repeat cruisers! ### 4/5 — Separating out bookings *2026-08-09* All passengers should be linked together for booking purposes unless they request to be separated out! Otherwise chaos ensues! If booked through third parties this shouldn’t affect group bookings should it? A lot of legally blind people love dark mode because it will allow for a black back ground and white lettering. If you were able to do something like this then I would gladly give the app a 5 star rating. Para conseguir visualizar os diferentes cruzeiros que irei fazer, preciso ficar saindo e entrando novamente no aplicativo. Isso é bastante inconveniente e dificulta muito o acompanhamento da minha viagem. The map can be zoomed out too far or into a weird orientation and becomes impossible to use. When you're off the boat, you cannot use the app to see important information like "when do I need to be back". Searching for users is completely broken. You need exact spelling including middle name, every time house add someone in another cabin to an event. There's no way to save these folks, even if they are contacts, and make that process easier. Yet somehow this app has 83K ratings and five stars! Presumably folks are asked to leave five star reviews on the cruise, which afaik is against the Apple policies. Generally as well, there are three things I want - map, today's events, and booking, and all are not on the Home Screen. Instead, house ads. Really cheapens the experience ### 1/5 — Useless, keeps crashing *2026-07-26, version 5.4.12* I have deleted and reinstalled the app and keep having the same problem of it keeps crashing and says not connected to the WIFI when I clearly am. Terrible. BTW. You are EXPECTED to use this app for ANY info on your cruise. Unless you pay for internet, it is JUNK. Die Vorfreude ist im Eimer. App bleibt beim Checkin stecken, obwohl bereits alle Daten im Web-Checkin korrekt und vollständig vorliegen. Stattdessen soll ich erst nochmals ein Selfie machen - kann man nicht überspringen auch wenn schon eins vorliegt. Wenn ich das endlich erfolgreich schaffe, und den Checkin nun korrekt abschliesse, danach ist das Ergebnis wieder negativ. App erkennt den Checkin nicht als komplett, und zum Korrigieren natürlich erst wieder ein Selfie machen…. Somit kein e-Ticket, kein Hinzufügen der Bordkarte zur Wallet. Absolut Nichts geht. Erst nach einem Anruf bei MSC konnte das Problem behoben werden. Die App läuft nun. So macht das keinen Spass. Das Buchungserlebnis ist eh schon suboptimal, die zur Verfügung gestellten Infos sehr dünn.
