Generally works well, but will crash repeatedly on some messages for no clear reason. Also crashes  occasionally when closing emails within the app.

Works great, though I do have occasional issues when saving an email as a PDF in that it will sometimes cut off images or tables on the right side - it’s as if it doesn’t know to adjust its size to fit the full content. Still, this is a great tool. And so easy to use.

I needed to open an ¿archive? of outlook messages on a Mac.  This worked easily.  My rating would have been 5 star if either it had more powerful search commands or it let me use houdahspot or similar programs.

Ich verwende es hauptsächlich um in der Agenda App eingebettete Outlook-Dateien in der Schnellansicht berachten zu können. Das klappt immer und zuverlässig. Auch die Vertiefung und der Blick auf Anlagen der Mail klappt zu 100%. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann das Tool uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

vielleicht noch als Verbesserungsvorschlag - möglicherweisee ist dies aber auch dem Betriebssystem Sonoma (aktuelles Update) geschuldet. Leider kann ich aus dem Viewer die angehefteten Dateien nicht per Drag & Drop in den Finder ziehen. Das wäre toll, wenn man das beim Update berücksichtigen könnte.

Anonsten super easy im Handling und endlich ein Viewer der wirklich schnell und einfach funktioniert. Danke an die Entwickler

When I try to use this app to open a .msg file I get this response: ‘Apple could not verify [name of .mg file] is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy’.  Having downloaded it from the Apple Store I do not understand why this flag happens, but it means I cannot double click on the file to open it.

The search function does not work on .mbox files exported from Apple Mail. Also can’t display or access attachments. Completely useless without a search function

I purchased this app so I could browse/search a large (8.5GB) .mbox archive. It loads the archive OK, and you can manually click through emails. But the search is extremely slow and crashes repeatedly, making it this app unusable for this use case. (My Mac has 128GB of RAM, so it’s not that)

You get to read your messages, but the app is not stable on my system (15.5 (24F74)) and crashes after most messages are opened. It opens again, but very disconcerting.

This is just what I needed…if only it worked without crashing. I can open a few .msg files without any issues, but then Msg Viewer Pro crashes. After I re-open it and open a few more .msg files, the cycle repeats.

I have a bazillion e-mails in .msg format that I need to access on my Mac and this program does it without issue, including attachments.
I hope the developer continues to update the app as necessary for the future.

I needed an app to preview and open Outlook MSG files, plus convert them to PDF, and MSG Viewer Pro does all that (and more). I particularly like the QuickLook feature, which is a real time saver. The price is quite reasonable, especially compared to other MSG viewers. So far no problems with crashes as noted in older reviews, and I was pleased to see there have been regular updates so it appears the app is actively maintained.
