## What is MSK2020?

국제적으로는 1993년 국제미생물학회연맹(International Union of Microbiological Societies, IUMS)에 가입하였으며, 한·러 생명공학 심포지움(1993년) 및 한·중 생명공학 심포지움(1993-4년)을 국내에서 개최하고, 제9차 산업미생물유전학 국제심포지움(9th International Symposium of the Genetics of Industrial Microorganisms: GIM-2002, 2002년 7월 1일~5일, 경주현대호텔), 제15차 국제미생물생태학 심포지움(15th International Symposium on Microbial Ecology: ISME15, 2014년 8월 24일~29일, 서울 코엑스)을 성공적으로 개최하였습니다.


국내적으로는 대한미생물학회, 대한바이러스학회, 한국균학회, 한국미생물·생명공학회와 함께 한국미생물학회연합에 가입하여 공동학술대회를 개최하는 등 활발한 학술교류를 하고 있으며, 이외에도 강원,충청 지부와 7개 분과를 두어 세미나, 특별강연회 등을 통하여 지역학술교류에도 이바지하고 있습니다.
