For the average person, the usage of this application can extend into various areas in one’s life. When the server is connected and accurate, one can develop a healthier financial lifestyle by analyzing the trends of the economy. I wish there was a way to make the platform more precise so that people will be able to understand more than just what the headlines of media presents. Narrative streamed information can be harmful for the youth and beginners as they become less aware and less interested in more local matters that should be of higher importance to them. The money converter is an excellent tool that will need improvement in the near future. ### 3/5 — Suddenly stop working for past several months *2024-07-10* Updating the review just to say after almost a year I realize it’s built into Microsoft start app Prior review: I use to be able to view my watch list from msn money app on my window laptop and iPad. Around holiday season last year my msn money app on iPad and iPhone keeps saying connection issue. Attempting to sign into my Microsoft acct results in as if I didn’t log in and continues to show network issue. My Microsoft word, excel, calendar, and outlook mail works just fine tho. I prefer msn money over Apple stock app, it’s disappointing issue with app on iOS system has not been resolved yet ### 1/5 — App no longer works *2024-06-02* This isn’t so much a review as much as it is a notice: it looks like the MSN Money function has been rolled into the Microsoft Start app. This app is still showing news articles from summer 2023, so it’s clear that this app is no longer being updated or used. Just wished Microsoft had sent out a formal notice saying the app will be sunset. If you’re trying to get the functionality of this app, Microsoft Start will be your best bet. I have an outlook account I have had for years no problems. I downloaded the app but I am having and issue with the app. My internet connection is excellent ### 1/5 — Not working AGAIN! *2023-08-14* This app will not work and shows a Wi-Fi connection issue, when all other apps are working just fine with my Wi-Fi. When trying to look up a stock, it just freezes and will not fill. I have checked several days now and am giving up on using it going forward. I wish Microsoft would fix this app or delete it from their apps!!! ### 1/5 — Unstable keeps losing starred stocks *2023-06-27* This app is unstable, it gets unresponsive. Once you terminate it, it will ask if you want to merge. If you merge it does not load correctly so you wont be able to scroll correctly. In this state your only choice is to terminate it again. If you select discard on the pop up after termination it will simply delete all your favorite stocks. Not worth it, there are other stable stock apps. ### 3/5 — Fair *2023-06-02* It sometimes doesn’t have information available. Some stocks it doesn’t have up to date data available for days. The app is the only one where you can have stocks, commodities, etc all in one page. News reports of financial matters, news that helps personal finances and tools in one app makes it a cut above other apps out there. ### 5/5 — Best financial app *2023-05-30* This is the app I always used. When it went away because they stopped supporting it for some time I went through almost every other app trying to unsuccessfully replace it. MSN finally brought it back and I no longer have to keep trying to replace it with inferior apps. Please keep this app running.
