Rather than having (today) and (yesterday) as it is deceptive. Such as today where I’ll look at the report that says today but you know the report is from yesterday because I read it yesterday. The maps and tracking are a great function. I constantly check the weather, conditions and Live Cams before planning a trip. The one change I would make is adding the Ski Patrol’s daily report to the conditions tab. It’s impossible to load a lift ticket or lesson onto a BTag profile when the system login fails 100% of the time (“Sorry, we cannot accept profile logins at this time. Please try again later”). As season BTag membership holders, it is near impossible to find out what the season pass holder benefits are (so many well kept secrets designed to ensure you never actually receive your benefits). These kind of issues are always going to happen when you have a Government body (ARV), Resort Management (Mt Buller), lift company (BSL) and transport operators (BusFleet & others) all operating independently of each other, with none of them ever communicating nor cooperating. “The Buller Way” is alive and strong, with loyalty & commitment constantly thrown back in your face - hard. ### 1/5 — Authentication Error *2026-07-06* While I am registered with the Mt Buller system, when I attempt to log into the app with my email and password, I receive an Authentication Error. I have used the reset password option - still doesn’t work. I have contacted the app developer - no response. I contacted the Mt Buller IT help desk -they could not fix the issue, in fact their person tried to register a new email address and had the same problem. ### 1/5 — Out of date information *2025-08-22, version 15.2.3* It’s 8.45am and I’m about to head out skiing for the day. The trail report and resort information is still from yesterday. This information is useless unless it is current. ### 1/5 — Don’t Even *2025-07-17, version 15.0.1* Absolute rubbish. Had to change password numerous times until I realised app was messing with me. Would only accept my card for half of my purchases, couldn’t even add my birth year for B-Tag identification, and this was after the disruptive update on app. ### 1/5 — Back to the 90 *2025-07-08, version 15.0* The app is not intuitive or easy to use. ### 1/5 — Overcomplicated mess *2025-06-22, version 15.0* It's almost as painful to use as a prostate exam, except without the possibility of any pleasure. ### 1/5 — A lot of work is required but it is possible *2024-07-26* Lifts open/closed as shown in the app are frequently an hour or more out of date. The snow forecast section has changed in the app for the worse. Previously the week ahead weather and snow forecast was easy to follow. Now it is more difficult to follow and glitchy on an iPhone. The webcams are frequently offline and more webcams would be appreciated. The “day reports” seem to omit important routine information such as which lifts will be opening on that day and when the mountain expects important other lifts to open. For example if not open already, skiers at Mt Buller will have an interest as to when key lifts like Wombat and Bull Run will open, even if it’s only an estimate. “Carpets” are included in the open lift count which tends to imply more is open than is the case. Lifts such as Federation don’t appear to have run for years even in good conditions. Grimus has seldom run in recent years. Both are still included. Estimated queue times for lifts would be a welcome inclusion. ### 1/5 — Clunky *2024-07-14, version 14.2.1* Just cannot log in, access benefits and feel you need to reinvent yourselves.
