And only recently have I found that it has not been logging my rides. Or, it logs only pieces of the ride. I know there’s not charge, but if it’s not going to work. What’s the point? ### 2/5 — Unstable *2026-07-05, version 4.7.1* Crashes often, UI is hideous and text runs into graphic blocks. The first is it constantly pops up a spammy window for Onyx mapping, somtiimes this window will not close on my phone. It happens constnatly. The other issue is when I'm trying to use the app to navigate on a ride, if I use my phone for a brief time to take a photo, I come back to the app and it is back at the home screen of the app and I have to try to find my way back to the ride I was on. A huge number of single track and some double track in my state (Oregon) is off limits to eMTB. Bummer, because we respect the trails and other users. I have years of saved trails and now the app is nearly unusable without . I’ve had to keep redownloading it because it’s so buggy. Fortunately, I had other map apps to help me navigate. I was following a pinned route and it was very frustrating to have the app continuously crash trying to find my way. To the developers, please make the app function better without cell service and with on and off service. Many of the locations I like to MTB have limited service. ### 1/5 — Crashes ALL THE TIME *2025-09-24, version 4.6.10* There are no words for how much rage this app gives me now. It crashes constantly. I’ve been using it for 4 years and have never had this problem. Whoever made these unstable changes should be fired immediately. I look forward to someone duplicating this exact app but without the crashing. What’s the point? 08/11/2026: Started the app, made sure it started and at the end of the ride I checked the status and it dropped somehow. UGGH ### 1/5 — No dark mode in 2026 *2026-07-26, version 4.7.1* App works okay-ish. Can’t maneuver the map while reordering as it constantly wants to recenter. Date picker when checking in doesn’t work and keyboard won’t show up. ### 1/5 — OnX ruined this app *2026-07-21, version 4.7.1* This used to be my go to app for finding trails. After OnX purchased this app it became virtually unusable. It crashes all the time!! It’s especially frustrating because mtb project and mountain project were community built projects with users uploading data of their rides that helped make these maps possible. OnX ruined a wonderful collaboration between users and developers! OnX is absolutely terrible for our community. ### 1/5 — Removal of GPX files and other issues *2026-06-17, version 4.7.1* The app doesn’t make it easy to reset your password.
