Selbst bei stabiler Wifi Verbindung funktionieren Kernfunktion nicht. Bspw sucht man nach einem Ort, wählt ihn aus der Liste aus und dann bleibt der Bildschirm weiß. Lässt sich auch beliebig oft wiederholen. Zuletzt hat dann auch diese App mein automatisches iCloud Backup verhindert, indem sie allein 18 GB Speicherplatz benötigte. Ich mag das Konzept von MTP, aber ich wünschte die Basics würden funktionieren. ### 2/5 — Many technical issues with this app. *2025-02-14* This application has many fault. Most of the time, when I am by a landmark, restaurant or hotel listed, the app doesn’t have the check in option on. I send multiples messages to costumer services and the problem keeps happening. Half the time when you finally figure out how to mark a country or area that you've been, the flag icon doesn't even work. They would do better to simplify the whole process and not try to put so many bells and whistles on everything. It includes lots of restaurants and hotels, but there is a paucity of “destinations”. Missing lots of world heritage sites, national parks, museums, etc. I have visited and enjoyed many places (whole cities) that I cannot register on this app because the app doesn’t recognize them. Castles and palaces; 2. I have never been able to find one that has come through. Diese App ist einfach katastrophal programmiert, schade hätte soviel Potenzial. Auch ganze Zugfahrten fehlen, Wien nach Istanbul mit dem Zug wäre so einfach einzurichten und alle Punkte zu hinterlegen, keine Chance, es fehlt an allen Ecken und Enden, falls man man sich dann auch mal einloggen kann. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2025-03-29* Wow. It’s easy to use, keeps a central record of your travels and allows the opportunity to track your journeys, so updating your travels becomes very quick! I also love the fact that you can see where you rank amongst the 36,000 users it currently has. It’s very satisfying to see all the places where you’ve been on the map straight in front of you knowing the moment you travel someplace, the map updates itself! ### 5/5 — The best app ever *2023-09-19* This is one of the best apps ever (even when it crashes. And there were some versions when it crashed all the time :-) I spend a lot of time on it even when not traveling, it helps with the planning of future trips or just learning from the links on WHS. IIt's been almost nine months since we went to 1500 MTPs. I guess it takes a huge amount of work to update everything, still many of the regions have weird text under their correct heading (e.g. Chad - South: MTP LOCATION Chad St Just Mining District The Port of Hayle Tregonning and Gwinear Mining Districts(003i) with • Trewavas (00311) Wendron Mining District and so on) ### 5/5 — Great app for following your travels. *2023-01-18, version 1.4.2* As a seasoned traveler, this app helps me to track my travels and places I have visited. Have been a member of MTP community for 15+ years, this is a great supplement to the website. Works just fine, never had outages or other performance issues. ### 5/5 — Great project *2022-02-23, version 1.3.26* I find this very useful and it is a very good implementation of a fantastic project. ### 5/5 — Ultimate Competitive Traveler Checklist *2020-12-29* I thought I was a world traveler after I visited my 64th country, but then I learned about the Traveler Century Club and then the MTP group that Charles created here and was blown away. As a travel addict, I can honestly say that this app has consumed 100+ hours life. It’s the single best travel checklist on the web. I love the pin based map for UNESCO sites as well as the MTP locations. I love viewing my fellow travelers maps and seeing how I compare. I love being a part of this community. My one question for Charles after using his app for a year plus is “how did you determine that Switzerland should have multiple MTP locations while day Chile only has one?” I’m not sure how the ~900 locations were determined. ### 5/5 — Great app to sistematize your travel *2020-08-02, version 1.2.5* App is great and make sure easier to plan your travel using combination of maps and google maps . ### 5/5 — Beaches vs NP *2020-01-20, version 1.2.4* Hi Charles love the site. Deb and ivare addicted. A few thoughts. Categories for inclusion need to be objective or veeifiable. MTP points used to be reviewed, updated and voted on. Is this still yhe case? Obviously micro dissecting the planet has its limitations. The 90 states of Russia suited you but what of the states of Chile - a long country with widely different regions. Or the 4 major islands of Hawaii, Or the very differing islands of Vanuatu. UN countries. Excellent objective. Would you consider addind the protectorates? WHS: objective. I assume it is regularly updated Restaurants: very Subjective but there are annual lists and classics. Very helpful when travelling Golf courses.: not really my thing but a great idea. Beaches: A bad idea. Too subjective. There are thousans of great beaches. Any Australian would laugh st the suggested beaches. We have hundreds better the almost any US beach i have seen. Now the point of this rave. Why not Nationsl Parks? Objective and listed. Chosen by expers in each country so probably the bestcs country has to offer.
