### 2.1.0 — 2026-08-21

Major interface redesign:

  • New dedicated Projects tab for managing your surveys
  • Clean home screen: 2D Plan and 3D View tools now appear automatically when a
   project is open
  • Contextual guides on point cloud modes (Sections, Tags, Measurements,
  Cleanup) — the app always tells you what to do next

  Important fixes:

  • 3D exports (E57, PLY, LAS, XYZ): Z-up orientation, CAD standard. Your point
  clouds now open correctly in ReCap, Revit, AutoCAD, CloudCompare and QGIS.
  • Doors: the Left/Right button now only changes the hinge side (architect
  convention). The "Flip direction" toggle independently controls the
  interior/exterior swing.

  Note for existing projects:
  Doors marked "Right" may require adjusting the "Flip direction" toggle. An
  in-app notice will explain at first launch. No data is lost.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-07-15

This version refines MTplans' presentation for building survey
 professionals: diagnosticians, architects, surveyors, craftsmen,
 real estate agents, contractors. 

 Subtle improvement of point cloud color rendering (bilinear
 sampling, native frame resolution).

 Thanks to those who use MTplans daily.

### 2.0 — 2026-07-01

MTplans now on iPad Pro with LiDAR.
The full surveying experience on a bigger screen:
  • Dedicated iPad layout with projects sidebar + tools inspector
  • Full-screen 2D plan with smooth zoom and pan
  • Drag-and-drop room labels
  • 3D view, point cloud, PDF/DXF export — all directly from iPad
  • iCloud: your iPhone projects sync automatically to iPad

  On iPad without LiDAR: consultation mode — import, view and export
  projects scanned on your iPhone Pro.

  Plus a few quiet improvements: light mode by default, sharper zone labels,
  new help section for passage and corridor scans.

### 1.4 — 2026-06-24

• Security fix: exports remain private until you upgrade to Pro
  • "Clean up" button restored in the recent projects list 
  • Fixed zoom behavior on exterior opening selection markers
  • Added information banner for the free version

### 1.3 — 2026-06-23

Fix: export preview is back for PDF, PNG, JPG, SVG, USDZ and OBJ formats.
  Preview now displays again with watermark for free users, and without for Pro
  subscribers. Only DXF export remains Pro-only (CAD format cannot be
  watermarked).
