Very nicely designed and good instructions - well developed. The rules do not explain how scoring works. This seems to be closest. BUT I cannot get the Shake A Hint thing to work ... My iPad just rotates it's screen around and I get no hints, which I could sorely use. Any secret to making this feature work in iPad? ### 5/5 — Best card game in the App Store! *2011-05-30* Being a die-hard card game fanatic, my first two app purchases with my iPad were Tichu and Mu. I've now played a couple of hundred hands of each, and while the bloom is off the rose on Tichu, Mu continues to impress and challenge me. The AI here is outstanding (I consider myself a good player, and I only win about 30% of the time on the hard AI), and I think the game has helped improve my bidding immensely. My only quibbles: 1) The pauses between moves are too long. You can tap to continue in most cases, but it still seems like it drags along 2) Need a better indication of the teams, particularly in the 5-player mode. The shades in the name boxes are a bit too subtle 3) The bidding controls are not at all intuitive-- Now that I've played enough it works, but it took me a very long time to get used to the "tap the arrow by the next player to continue". Still, a great game, well implemented. ### 4/5 — really fun! *2010-11-29* once I learned the general gist of playing this game I had a lot of fun and it can be quite addictive! I have only two suggestions to consider - one is to have a running tally of each players score on the screen while they are playing...instead of having to turn the phone sideways each time you want to check the score. And the other suggestion would be to add a section on bidding advice/strategies in the "how to play". Excellent ! Merci ### 5/5 — Anspruchvoller Kartenspielspaß *2010-11-04* Gut austariertes Stichspiel, vom Anspruch her zwischen Skat und Bridge anzusiedeln. Erfreulich ist die hohe Spielstärke der Computergegner. Ändert man die Anzahl der Mitspieler, muss man auch die Spieltaktik ändern, wenn man gewinnen will. I mean, you go to the trouble of trademarking it and mentioning it repeatedly in the tutorial, but where is it? In diesem Spiel hat man ohne richtige Karten keine Chance. Da man nur bedienen kann und auch nicht 0 spielen oder so, Muss man Chef sein um zu gewinnen. Konnte nach 12 Spielen keine Strategie entdecken. Hab Mehrmals zum lernen mit Hints gespielt, und jedes mal verloren. ### 2/5 — meh *2010-07-27* I like card games, I've played spades a few times. To be honest, trick making games I have not really played. But I thought..."hey, it has a tutorial, it can't be that hard to learn". Was I wrong. I went through the tutorial twice and I still don't get it. For $2.99 I thought this was going to be a pretty awesome looking game, cool graphics, sounds... something...but what you see is what you get. Then when I change the settings to move the game from normal to fast that only lasts for that time while the games open when I go to open it back up again later it's back to the normal speed. I get that they are not probably going to be making any corrections but I sure wish that they would. ——————— This is a great game and excellent alternative for Rook, which doesn't seem to yet be available as a computer/ipad game. The only downside I've come across is that the game sometimes ends before any player reaches 400 points (my setting). Most recently for me the high score was 378 when the game ended. I love this game. It is fun, challenging and interesting. I like the bidding process and how some hands( depends how bidding goes) you play with a partner against other players and some rounds you play against the partners alone. The tutorial will smooth you right into play.
