## What is Muallim Sani?

The easiest path to reading the Qur'an — from the first letter to the first surah.

Muallim Sani — the classic primer
Learn to read the Qur'an from zero with the classic primer "Muallim Sani" by Ahmadhadi Maqsudi, in short lessons. Learners know it by many names — Muallim Soniy, Muallimi Soniy, Mu'allim Thani — and anyone who started with Noorani Qaida, Alif Ba Ta or Elifba will recognise the path. A self-study course for beginners, kids and adults: from the Arabic alphabet to reading the Qur'an with tajweed.
• Arabic alphabet (alifbo): every letter with its sound and forms
• Harakat (vowels): fatha, kasra, damma
• Syllables, words and first ayahs
• Sukun, madd, shadda, tanween, hamza, ta marbuta, the article "al"
• Tajweed lessons: wasl, waqf, madd, idgham, iqlab
• Kalima and Shahada
• Surahs for beginners: Al-Fatiha, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, An-Nas
• Live reciter — a real qari (qori)
• Stars for every lesson and a certificate at the end

Listen and read the Qur'an — practise the Muallim Sani method
The Library is open from day one: the Qur'an in Uthmani script in a comfortable reader. Read on your own and check yourself with the reciter — that is how lessons turn into real reading. Translations open after the Beginner level; tafsir and the sira after the Intermediate level or right away with Pro.
• Verse-by-verse audio — 6 reciters: Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary, Mishary Alafasy, Abdul Basit Abdus Samad, Maher Al-Muaiqly, Ali Al-Hudhaifi, Ayman Suwaid
• Translations of the meanings in 12 languages — Saheeh International, Rowwad, Hilali & Khan, Khalifa Altai, Muhammad Sodiq and more
• Tafsir: Al-Mukhtasar (concise tafsir) in English, plus Tafsir As-Sa'di and Tafsir Al-Muyassar in other languages
• Juz 30 (Juz Amma) for memorising — mark the surahs you know by heart
• Bookmarks, reading position, sepia and dark themes, offline downloads

Learn the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him)
• The sira "Nur al-Yaqin" — the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in 246 chapters
• "Path of the Sira" — a quiz on the book: 17 sections, 84 lessons, 840 questions
• A medal for every section next to your name and a numbered "Sira Scholar" certificate

Dhikr and salawat every day — together with other learners
• Dhikr and salawat counter with a daily minimum and a streak
• Weekly rating: lessons, Qur'an reading, dhikr and salawat — compete in good deeds
