## What is mubo?

Music is listened together. Now also decided together. - With mubo.

Connect to a Musicbox or create your own. Your Musicbox is ready to use within seconds. Just add a Playlist and press play. Just try it, it's really that simple.

The idea: The song with the most votes is the furthest up in the playlist of the Musicbox. To keep it exciting, the cooldown resets all votes after a fixed time and everybody can vote again.

You can add your own music or easily add music from AppleMusic, Spotify, Audius or YouTube to your Musicbox. Then you just have to start your Musicbox and your guests can already vote for their favorite songs. If you allow it, your guests can even add songs to your Musicbox. The song with the most votes is the furthest up in the playlist of your Musicbox. To keep it exciting, the cooldown resets all votes after a fixed time and your guests can vote again.

### 1/5 — Worked until I actually wanted to use it

this was all set up for a large gathering but the day of the event, printed out multiple QR code sheets started telling everyone about it but then the  app kept crashing loading a playlist tried 3 different iPads and 2 different phones. Had to DJ the party myself.

Der Funktionsumfang scheint genau das zu sein, wonach ich suchte. Leider spielt die Musikbox aber immer nur einen Song ab und wiederholt diesen dann immer wieder. Die nachfolgenden Songs werden nicht abgespielt. Bei Spotify ist alles aktiviert, was zu aktivieren geht.
Wenn die Grundfunktion wieder geht, gibt's auch 5*. Ich hoffe auf einen schnellen Bugfix, sodass wir die App zum Geburtstag im März nutzen können.

**Developer response:** 1. In Deinen Spotify App-Einstellungen:

    * Öffne die Spotify App
    * Gehe zu Einstellungen > Wiedergabe
    * Deaktiviere folgende Einstellungen: • Übergangslose Wiedergabe • Automix • Ähnliche Titel automatisch abspielen

2. Im Spotify Player:

    * Überprüfe die Wiederholen-Taste
    * Stelle sicher, dass sie ausgeschaltet ist (sollte nicht hervorgehoben sein)

3. App-Updates:
    * Stelle sicher, dass deine Spotify App auf dem neuesten Stand ist
    * Überprüfe den App Store auf ausstehende Updates

Falls das Problem weiterhin besteht, versuche beide Apps (mubo und Spotify) zu schließen und neu zu öffnen

Ansonsten melde dich bitte per Mail an uns und wir finden eine Lösung :)

App does not seem to play well with Spotify. It will randomly stop at the end of a song and refuse to play the next. Stuck in endless loop of the same song over and over again even if I close out the app and Spotify and start over.

**Developer response:** Did you try our tips to fix the Spotify issues? You definitely need the right settings in the Spotify App to get it running.

📱 Spotify Loop Fix Guide:

1. In Your Spotify App Settings:
    * Open Spotify app
    * Go to Settings > Playback
    * Turn OFF the following settings: • Gapless Playback • Automix • Autoplay similar content
2. In Spotify Player:
    * Check the Repeat button
    * Make sure it's turned OFF (should not be highlighted)
3. App Updates:
    * Ensure your Spotify app is updated to the latest version
    * Check your app store for any pending updates

Additional Tips:
* If the issue persists after trying these steps, try closing and reopening both mubo and Spotify
* Make sure both apps have the necessary permissions enabled

Finde die Idee hinter der App sehr gut auch die Umsetzung ist euch gut gelungen was ich noch verbessern würde ist dass man mehr Musikanbieter wie Amazon Music in die App integriert weil ich persönlich habe ein premium Abo bei Amazon aber halt nicht bei Spotify oder bei den anderen vertretenen Anbietern, dass ist meine einzige Kritik weitermachen 👍
