Hier sind vom Entwickler einige gute Ideen eingebaut worden. Leider hat eine grundlegende Funktion bei mir noch nie funktioniert: während sogar das Voten läuft und andere User abstimmen können (leider nur nach dem Installieren der App) - bleibt die Playlist immer beim allerersten Song hängen und springt nicht weiter. Unfortunately, when linking it to YouTube, I receive this error: This app is blocked This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account. To keep your account safe, Google blocked this access. I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 because, hey, this could be a mixup on Google’s end. But given the amount of personal data it asks for when linking to Spotify, I’m a little skeptical of their privacy practices. ### 3/5 — No lover seems to be working :/ *2022-10-22* Been using this app for parties for a couple of years, always worked great. Today and yesterday with this current version I’ve been having nothing but troubles. iOS and android versions are both having issues with disconnecting while changing songs. It plays the next song but then shuts down the server and disconnects everybody right after.. shame this is happening today. Hopefully the developers are able to fix it ### 5/5 — Closes Musicbox When Minimizing App *2020-07-23* Why does the whole Musicbox close when I go to a different app/home screen of my phone? If I'm having a party, I want to be able to use my phone and still have music and requests loaded and going in the background. The host/DJ needs to be able to remote control the MusicBox from another device/iPhone. We will think about a solution for that :) ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Worked until I actually wanted to use it *2025-09-11* this was all set up for a large gathering but the day of the event, printed out multiple QR code sheets started telling everyone about it but then the app kept crashing loading a playlist tried 3 different iPads and 2 different phones. It will randomly stop at the end of a song and refuse to play the next. Stuck in endless loop of the same song over and over again even if I close out the app and Spotify and start over. **Developer response:** Did you try our tips to fix the Spotify issues? You definitely need the right settings in the Spotify App to get it running. 📱 Spotify Loop Fix Guide: 1. In Your Spotify App Settings: * Open Spotify app * Go to Settings > Playback * Turn OFF the following settings: • Gapless Playback • Automix • Autoplay similar content 2. In Spotify Player: * Check the Repeat button * Make sure it's turned OFF (should not be highlighted) 3. App Updates: * Ensure your Spotify app is updated to the latest version * Check your app store for any pending updates Additional Tips: * If the issue persists after trying these steps, try closing and reopening both mubo and Spotify * Make sure both apps have the necessary permissions enabled ### 1/5 — Broken *2022-09-21, version 1.8.5* App does not work. Leider spielt die Musikbox aber immer nur einen Song ab und wiederholt diesen dann immer wieder. Die nachfolgenden Songs werden nicht abgespielt. Bei Spotify ist alles aktiviert, was zu aktivieren geht. Wenn die Grundfunktion wieder geht, gibt's auch 5*. Ich hoffe auf einen schnellen Bugfix, sodass wir die App zum Geburtstag im März nutzen können. **Developer response:** 1. Im Spotify Player: * Überprüfe die Wiederholen-Taste * Stelle sicher, dass sie ausgeschaltet ist (sollte nicht hervorgehoben sein) 3. I have a base “vibe” playlist, and others are able to add their own songs to the playlist however often they wish. Thanks for making it, releasing it, and making it actually work! A feature request is to make it such that each person can pick songs in a fixed order. So if 3 people are connected the queue goes 1-2-3, 1-2-3, etc. Still, love it as is for sharing music while we’re hanging out, playing games, etc. **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback 🙏 ### 5/5 — Grandiose App mit noch mehr Potenzial *2020-10-04* Seit Jahren suche ich einen guten Weg, um die Musikwiedergabe bei Feiern in die Hände der Gäste zu geben. Problematisch dabei ist, dass häufig nur ein Lied ausgewählt und dabei die ganze Liste unterbrochen wird. Doch diese App löst das Problem auf eine sehr elegante Art und Weise: Als Basis dient eine selbst erstellte Wiedergabeliste und Gäste können, wenn sie wollen, Lieder über ihr iPhone einfügen. Zusätzlich können sie auch noch über die Lieder abstimmen und so ihre Favoriten und die von anderen weiter nach vorn in die Liste wählen. Das Einrichten der App ist kinderleicht und bietet sehr viele Möglichkeiten zur Anpassung. Die elementaren Funktionen arbeiten problemlos und der Entwickler ist engagiert, Fehler zu beheben. Da die App kostenlos ist, darf hier wirklich niemand meckern. Es gibt sicherlich noch reichlich Ausbaupotenzial.
