Welcome to Mud Finder, the mobile solution made for riders. Mud Finder is the first of its kind to offer this much functionality for riders in one intuitive app. Search our constantly growing list of locations all across the country to find the right trail for you. Locations are added by our users, then verified and kept up-to-date by our locations team. There's also an option for reviewing and check-ins for every location, so you can see what others are saying before making your choice. We can make your experience even better by offering listings for services, near where your riding, such as vehicle repair, gas, food, lodging, etc. Version 3 brings a few new things to the table. We have an event section that is starting to get populated with events all over the country. You can search and find events for a location and date in the future. We have a new look to the main page that is very attractive and allows for the expansion we need for new things coming. We also now have a section for classifieds that we are adding gear and rides to that are off-road oriented. With each new version comes new and exciting features, so be on the look-out for updates. I was hoping it would let people put local trails on a map so others could find the ones that are not state forests. If this was like the hiking app “all trails” it would be useful. **Developer response:** Hello Dan_M, We really appreciate your review. You have pointed out what we will be improving in the next update and that is better instructions. The Mud Finder app has a built in wizard that allows any user to identify a new trail system. Actually, over 90% of the trails listed in Mud Finder are user reported. All you have to do is click on the locations button and right on the screen is a Plus icon. This will start the wizard allowing you to add a new trail system, even if you have no cell connection at the time. Actually, this only starts a process. While the trail system will show in the app, we have a team of people that will then work to validate the trail system exists, and also fill in all the other info that we can find out about it such as surrounding medical facilities, lodging, etc. We value our users input and will work to improve the instructions on how to use the app and how locations can be downloaded so they are usable even when you have no cell connection, etc. Check out our recently added Mud Tube on our webpage for location based photos that show cool places to visit out on the trails.
