The app delivers authentic duas automatically for home, travel, rain, and Friday routines based on your daily activities rather than scheduled alarms. Receive relevant duas when entering the marketplace or when it begins to rain in your area. Mudhakkir functions as a practical daily utility for authentic Sunnah and Dhikr. FEATURES AND TRIGGERS Instead of relying on manual alarms, Mudhakkir uses battery-optimised, on-device triggers to detect specific contexts: • Places and Locations: Automatically receive the relevant duas from the Prophet (PBUH) when entering or leaving the mosque, arriving at a marketplace, or visiting a place of food. • The Companionship Feature: Using anonymous proximity detection, the app provides prompts to spread the Salam or make a silent dua when another Mudakkir user is nearby. • Jumuah Reminders: Context-aware notifications on Fridays to read Surah Al-Kahf, send Salawat upon the Prophet (PBUH), and seek the accepted hour of dua. • Leaving and Entering Home: Receive the outward dua when leaving your residence and the corresponding dua upon your return. • Travelling: Receive the journey dua automatically when automotive travel is detected. • Rain: Receive notifications during local rainfall to make dua at this accepted time. • Sleep and Wake: Morning and evening adhkar timed according to your daily sleep schedule. PRIVACY AND DATA HANDLING Mudakkir operates on a strict local-first architecture: • 100% On-Device: Location and proximity data are processed entirely on your device. • No Servers or Tracking: Your personal data is never uploaded, recorded, or used for external analytics. • Anonymous Companionship: The proximity feature functions without sharing your identity or precise location with other users. • Zero Advertising: The application contains no advertisements or data brokering. PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED To function correctly, the app requires specific system permissions: • Location: Required for home and mosque geofencing. All processing remains strictly on-device. • Bluetooth: Optional. Used exclusively for the anonymous Companionship feature. • Motion: Used to detect automotive travel for journey duas. • Notifications: Required to deliver the duas at the relevant times.
