I can see the status of my mug on my computer and iPhone, and it stays connected without giving me false alarms when my cup is empty. What more can I say? The main reason it gets four stars is that it does not connect to Apple Health, unlike the original app. So I have turned off the notifications from the original Ember app, but I still use it to record my morning coffee so that I can report my caffeine intake. ### 5/5 — Greatest mug software ever!!! *2026-08-08, version 1.1.0* I was extremely disappointed when I bought my Ember to realize that Apple Watch support was no longer offered. Those would be neat but are definitely not necessary. The free functionality alone is worth it.
