This app is miles better than Ember’s — I deleted that one. The $4/year is easily worth it for the Live Activity alone. I’ve also had zero re-pairing issues with multiple mugs, which was a weekly headache with Ember. My only nitpick is the app icon; I’d love a cleaner or customizable option. This third-party app is focused on just one thing: making the mug work, and doing it incredibly well. I really appreciate your feedback on the Apple Watch features. I've debated a standalone watch app, but sustaining a long-term BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) connection directly from the watch to the mug is restricted by Apple and would be really tough on watch battery life. Using Live Activities allows for a much lighter battery footprint. Thanks again for the support, and will keep exploring ways to improve the watch experience! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 2/5 — Yet another subscription *2026-03-03, version 1.0.2* App looks useful. I can see the status of my mug on my computer and iPhone, and it stays connected without giving me false alarms when my cup is empty. What more can I say? Those would be neat but are definitely not necessary. The free functionality alone is worth it.
