## What is Mugen Converter?

Make videos easier to handle on iPhone and iPad.

“Someone sent me a video, but it won’t play.” “I brought a video over from my PC or camera, but I can’t open it.” Mugen Converter is a simple, practical video conversion app that helps turn those videos into MOV or MP4 files that are easier to play and share on iOS.

Using it is simple: choose a video, select the conversion recipe that fits your purpose, and convert. No technical knowledge is required. If you are not sure what to choose, the standard settings are a safe place to start.

You can add multiple videos to the queue and convert them later in order. Each video can keep its own recipe, so it is easy to handle different needs, such as keeping one video high quality, reducing the file size of another, or extracting audio only.

Conversion is completed entirely on your iPhone or iPad. No login is required. Your video files are not sent to an external server for conversion, so even large videos can stay in your hands while you work with them.

Once you are ready for more control, you can adjust settings such as MOV / MP4, H.264 / HEVC, resolution, bitrate, and frame rate to match your purpose.

※あくまで私の環境の話です。iPhoneアプリの中ではとても良いと思います。
動画をエンコードしようとすると0%で止まってしまうことが多いです。高画質低画質問わず起こり原因はわかりません。改善されたら追記したいと思います。

使いやすいです！
映像コーデックにMPEG-4を追加することは可能でしょうか？
古いカーナビを使っていて、SDカードに動画を入れてうつしているんですが、対応しているのがMPEG-4なんです。こちらの使いやすいアプリで変換できたら最高なのになぁ

MPEG-4コーデックへの対応自体は技術的にそれほど難しいものではございません。ただ、なまやはのはさ様がお使いのナビで確実に再生できるかどうかは、機器側の仕様に依存するところが大きいのが正直なところでございます。

変換すると音が消えます

ご報告いただいた現象ですが、もし元の動画データが破損していなければ、ひょっとすると「マルチトラック（複数の音声が記録された動画）」である可能性が高いのではないかとお察ししております。
無限コンバーターは現在、複数の音声トラックが含まれている場合、デフォルトとして設定されている音声トラックを自動的に選択する仕様となっております。そのため、もしそのデフォルトのトラックが「無音」あるいは指定がない場合、結果として変換後のファイルも無音になってしまいます。
これは元の動画の音声形式の構成に由来する問題かもしれませんが、もし詳しい動画データの仕様をお教えいただければ、当アプリ側のアップデートで対応できる可能性も非常に高いと考えております。

The Video Conversion recipe now includes an Audio option. You can continue to leave it on Automatic (Recommended) with no technical setup. Mugen Converter checks the source audio, keeps compatible AAC audio without changing its quality, and converts it to AAC with suitable settings only when needed.

For more control, you can now explicitly choose 96, 128, 192, or 256 kbps. This makes it easy to balance file size and audio quality for your needs. Before converting, you can also review the input audio and the processing Mugen Converter plans to use.

The new Size Compression feature lets you set a maximum file size in MB—no video encoding expertise required. Mugen Converter analyzes the selected video, builds a conversion plan from its duration, video, and audio details, and converts it to stay at or below your chosen limit.

Before starting, you can review the estimated file size, resolution, video settings, and audio settings. The plan updates automatically whenever you choose a different video or change the size limit, so you can see what to expect before converting. You can also add multiple videos to the queue and process them later in order.

We also refined queue pausing and resuming, along with the checks performed during conversion, to make longer jobs more dependable.
