## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6.8 — 2026-10-21

• Muka now supports iPhone Duo. When you unfold it, the camera screen adapts to the large display and the preview shows the full frame you'll capture.
• When you shoot with the rear camera while unfolded, the outer display shows a preview so the people you're photographing can see themselves. You can turn it off in the settings panel.

### 1.6.7 — 2026-10-21

• You can now email the recording diagnostics log straight to the developer when a recording ends unexpectedly.
• If a recording ends while you're away from the app (screen lock, a phone call), Muka now lets you know when you come back.
• Capture sounds now follow your device's sound settings, and the in-app shutter sound setting has been removed.
• Fixed text showing through behind notification banners.
• Muka now speaks 15 languages: added Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), French, German, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Italian, Turkish and Russian.

### 1.6.6 — 2026-10-20

• Fixed recordings ending too early when the device got hot. Until the system itself stops the camera, the app only lowers the frame rate and keeps recording.
• Fixed recordings ending on a memory warning alone.
• Fixed time-lapse recordings ending when a call or alarm came in. It shows "Paused" in the meantime and continues when the interruption ends.
• Fixed the ad badge and notices covering the REC indicator while recording.

### 1.6.5 — 2026-09-30

• Haptic feedback for the shutter, mode changes, switching cameras, and starting and stopping a recording (iOS 26.5 or later).
• Video recording is now fully silent: start and stop tones are no longer recorded into your videos.
• Fixed videos taken by holding the shutter being recorded at 0.5x when 1x was selected, and getting stuck on "Saving" after a very short press.
• Fixed the Live Photo button disappearing after using Slo-mo.
• Switching between Photo and Video is faster and no longer flickers with a filter on.

### 1.6.4 — 2026-09-28

• Photos are now saved as JPEG. Tap "JPEG" at the top to choose 24MP or 48MP on supported iPhones, with every zoom button available at 48MP.
• Hold your iPhone sideways and the zoom numbers and button icons turn to stay upright.
• Fixed landscape photos from the Lock Screen camera being saved in portrait.
• Your flash setting is now remembered.
• Turn macro on and off with the flower button.
• Fixed the view not magnifying at high zoom with a filter on, and other issues.
