But there are many open construction sites: transmissions for ZAR to USD in the US just does not compute in the app and only can be entered on the web, for many months now. No explanations. The login to the app accepts a password; on the web it _only_ works per SMS pin. Amounts over ZAR 10k apparently require you to send a proof of payment but sometimes it works just so. Nowhere is this explained in the app, Mukuru simply lets your order expire if you don’t send proof. Had to ring he contact number, initially failing to get through either because I might have been a little early in calling (though the auto reply did not specify what time you were open. I had chased it for over 10 days and at the end they said they will do refund which will take at least a week. The money was for emergency and their actions just made it worse. You loose your status. It’s not user friendly. If like in the banks it capture all your information it would be good. Again you loose the right to use other devices without the app that frustrates me. ### 1/5 — App didn’t get me past login page *2023-01-29, version 3.2.1* I don’t know how this app landed at 4.7 overall. I’ve been a Mukuru user for years and was ecstatic to find an app but never got past the login page. The landing page didn’t have a section to enter a password after you’ve keyed in your email/user name. Instead it takes you to a password reset option. You are then required to “reset” your password. After a couple of tries and switches between email verification and the app it still doesn’t give the password section (even after the reset is complete), instead all I got was an “internal server error” and could not get past that error no matter how many times I tried. The idea of an app was a great one, the concept completely tedious and unusable. @Mukuru, you need to redesign your app login. Make it simple and useable whilst maintaining user security. I called Mukuru and spoke to Mr Londa Mlambo who checked my account with me but we failed to resolve the problem. Mr Mlambo assured me that he was going to escalate my problem with IT department and come back with an update. I was very grateful when he called back and informed me to delete my current application and download an updated app from Apple Store. I did that and within 10 minutes I was able to do that and send my son money. Thank you very much for the support - much appreciated.
