The metronome and the different layers fall out of sync really easily, completely ruining just about everything you record. This app would honestly be a perfect 5 stars instead of 1 if they FIXED THIS ONE THING, but we’re now on NEARLY A DECADE OF THEM NOT FIXING THIS ### 3/5 — Tracks won’t merge *2021-02-25* It’s fine for a free app other than when I record two different tracks (one guitar, one singing) and I try to export them it gives me an option of “separated” or “merged”.... great right? Except when you click “merge” it pretends like it merges the track, but then it doesn’t actually do it and when it goes through it ends up sending on of the tracks solo. Makes me think it’s doing something other than the stated function in the background. Deleted ### 1/5 — Timing slipped on first attempt *2025-07-30* What I feared would happen happened and is my experience on several similar apps. I recorded a guitar track and then a backing vocal second track. When I then started to add a third track backing vocal it became apparent that the timing of the second track had slipped and was not where I sang it. This rendered the whole process pointless I’m afraid. Summary: I began hopeful because it looked very simple and easy to use but within about fifteen minutes had deleted the app. Sorry. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2025-06-27* I understand that when you put out an app, you would like people to pay for it, but if you offer a free edition, then anybody who uses that app would expect it to work properly. This does not do what it is advertised to do. It is supposed to be a multi track recording app where you could play the guitar and then sing and then sing background and then play a little guitar over that. However, no matter how many times I’ve tried to start and restart it. And then recorded a very simple lead guitar line on track two, using headphones to monitor. Listening back, the two tracks aren’t synced up as recorded. Not even close. I have no other apps open. I have lots of memory. I recorded with headphones. And still a very short 20 second, 2 track recording is way out of sync. I have over a hundred recordings on it and have been using it since 2016. It’s not like using a real DAW but it’s convenient for what it is. The export function works well too, I can upload my tracks to my email, Discord, text message, it works just fine. I highly recommend it, and thank you to the developers. ### 5/5 — Perfect for on the go ideas *2021-01-03* I don’t understand the reviews on this or why users got confused with this app but I can tell you securely this does what you need it to do. Use headphones, you can tap in your bpm and enable metronome during recording. It also has an auto trim feature that tightens your loops to the nearest beat so your loops are exact. This gets your ideas down in no time. Very very subtle ad bar at the top and doesn’t get in the way of your creativity. Every app these days serves you ads in the most irresponsible way. This one is respectable and does the trick. Give it a try! You’ll see what I mean! For collabs it sort of defeats the purpose if the other party can’t just quickly get the track from their email (instead having to sync to their iTunes). Audiobridge allows this.
