### 5/5 — Useful easy-to-use app

*2016-09-04, version 5.0*

Very clinically useful app - can be easily used in the middle of a busy clinic to calculate limb length discrepancy, growth remaining, timing of epiphysiodesis and much more; very helpful resources in "Additional resources" for bone age, normal joint angles and oblique plane deformity calculations. Growth charts are great to show parents. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — great app

*2016-02-18, version 5.0*

Great for use in the Peds Ortho clinic for kids with LLD, graphs help to explain growth to parents

### 5/5 — Simple to use and extremely valuable for any pediatric orthopedist or pediatrician

*2015-12-27, version 3.5*

The Multiplier app is an extremely useful tool for any clinician treating children. It allows predictions of growth based on current measurements by applying multipliers for various age/sex/specific clinical questions.

While these predictions were derived with often cumbersome and complex formulae, the app simplifies and streamlines and involves simply typing in some values. The app will provide answers and will break it down to allow a thorough understanding of expected measurement throughout the remainder of growth. This not only provides the clinician with valuable information through which to make treatment decisions, but also provides detailed predictions to better educate patients and their families as to expectations, as well as their treatment options.

I use it all the time for calculations such as expected leg length discrepancies at maturity (as well as the breakdown year to year), expected height at maturity, timing of angular correction for hemiepiphysiodesis, as well as timing of epiphysiodesis.

I share this information with my patients so that can appreciate the options available to them. They find it easy to understand and helpful to manage expectations and understand treatment options.

Other resources available through this app include standard values for the lower limbs, the original formulae, simplified ways for predicting skeletal age, timing of appearance of apophyses and a number of other useful features.

I highly recommend this app to efficiently provide critical information for planning treatment, even at the patient's first visit. Patients and families appreciate the simplified predictions that really help them make informed decisions about treatment.

Any orthopedic surgeon who treats children, any pediatrician looking for a simple to use resource for growth information or anyone looking for information on expected growth should download this app. I really find it indispensable.

### 5/5 — Pediatric orthopaedic surgeon

*2015-12-27, version 5.0*

A great useful app I use on a regular basis at my clinic.
It's easy to use, very intuitive and save my time. I've stopped using the tables after installing this app and I also show it to my patients. Highly recommended.

Great app, easy and quick to use in clinic when trying to calc for LLD and deformity correction. It is not setup to be used by non medical professionals to try and "see how tall I will be when I am older"

### 5/5 — Can someone please answer?!?!

*2012-02-12, version 1.5*

Hey,

I'm 12 years old and a female. I am 4 foot 9 and a half and I haven't grown in 5 months. My mom is about 5 foot 2 and my dad is probably 5 foot 9. I weigh 84 pounds.

I was wondering if anybody knew if I would grow any more?!?

I really don't like being short...

I dont know if this would have to do with anything, but I have started my period...

So... Can someone write me back?

Thanks.

### 5/5 — Review

Great app for predicting limb length discrepancy and height. Easy to use. Cute, pediatric friendly interface. Also works well on iPad.

### 5/5 — Extremely Useful

*2011-11-07, version 1.2*

This is an excellent app and easily replaces the dusty laminated charts which have cluttered clinic rooms in the past.

The developers are approachable and replied within 24 hours to my enquiries. An update is on the way in the near future.

Highly recommended for all Paediatric Orthopaedic surgeons.

### 1/5 — Crash, crash crash and then it crashes!

*2013-08-06, version 2.5*

I've tried everything to get this app to open and it just won't. I see the main screen for about 3 seconds and then it immediately shuts down. I wish I knew how to fix the problem.

### 1/5 — Crashes every time

*2013-08-04, version 2.5*

I can't exactly rate it because it crashes every time before I even get into the app.

### 1/5 — Chris

*2012-07-10, version 1.5*

This app is not accurate at all. There are too many factors to figure out future height than just age and current height. Apparently a day older or younger but the same height throws everything off.

### 1/5 — Horrible!!!!

*2012-06-22, version 1.5*

I am a 12 year old girl and currently 5,7 I know wow!! But it said at maturity I'll be 5,9 I know that's not true because I grow 5 inches at least each year and I have no signs of slowing down yet!

### 2/5 — Joke

*2012-06-14, version 1.5*

It's a joke!! My dad is 6'0 and mom is 5'7

### 5/5 — Multiplier the best app for providers!

*2022-07-07, version 7.0*

This app is easy to use, simple and fast In a few seconds I can answer all the questions parents will ask about the predicted height and leg length discrepancy!

### 5/5 — Essential app for peds ortho

*2022-02-20, version 7.0*

This app is imperative for anyone treating limb length discrepancies in the growing child. It can be used to predict final discrepancy magnitude, time epiphysiodeses, predict adult height, and provide an immense amount of clinically pertinent information for patients and providers alike. It comes from pioneers and household names in the field of deformity management, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone seeing these patients!

### 5/5 — The best for limb length discrepancy calculation!

*2020-12-05, version 7.0*

This is, without a doubt, the absolute best app for anyone who sees patients with limb length discrepancies. Easy to use, reliable, and based on established data.

There is also a wonderful tutorial (on VuMedi) to understand how to use it.

This is a game changer in a busy clinic!

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2020-01-07, version 7.0*

Can’t live without it in my practice!! Honestly, a must have app for any pediatric orthopedic surgeon.

### 5/5 — Fantastic update!

*2019-09-30, version 7.0*

Very useful update to an already critical App for pedipods. The new bone age section for hand x-Rays is simple to use and efficient. The new CDC growth chart option makes it easy to share graphically displayed data with parents. Thanks for these new tools!

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good but...

*2019-06-25, version 6.3.1*

Good but my height is gonna b 5 foot 9 when I’m older

### 5/5 — Growth

*2018-10-13, version 6.3*

Help me to get taller and bigger faster

### 5/5 — Essential tool for pediatric orthopaedic surgeons

*2018-08-26, version 6.3*

This is an invaluable tool for practicing pediatric orthopaedic surgeons developed by Drs. Herzenberg and Paley - a must-have free download for all orthopaedic residents and orthopaedic surgeons.

### 5/5 — Lots of fun! Fairly consistent. Hope it's accurate!

*2017-01-29, version 6.0*

I've had this app for several years. I have been tracking both of my daughters and the predictions have been fairly consistent throughout the years. I recently started tracking my infant son as well and I hope the predictions are correct, although I won't know for several years. I am very short and my husband is tall, so it's fun to use this for an idea of how tall my children will grow. Side note: I only use the height predictor. I have not tried the other functions.

### 5/5 — Quick and well designed

*2016-09-12, version 5.0*

As a pediatric orthopedist with a focus in deformity correction, I find this app to be an excellent resource. Within the limits of the data on which the program is based, I have not found a better resource. Excellent for quick teaching and calculations in the office setting.
