I'm a speech-language pathologist and have students who have difficulty producing words with multiple syllables. This app is perfect because it breaks the words down by level of difficulty and has several fun games to play. The black dots help to see how many syllables are in each word. To my surprise there are only 3 languages available (English, German and French) I needed it in Spanish. I tried touching, swiping etc and nothing happens. Could certainly be used for artic work as well. I will be using it with ESL learners and I think it will be very helpful. The pictures and how it shows kids in detail how to identify individual sounds in words. It has helped my students who were only able to identify 1 syllable words be able to identify 2,3,and 4 syllable words. It’s also good for English language learners and kids who have learning disabilities.
