### 3/5 — Why no notification???

*2026-07-30, version 7.7.2*

Why doesn’t the app send me a notification when a timer goes off!? I’m asking because I have notifications turned on for this app, meaning it isn’t because I can’t get notifications from it!

### 4/5 — Please add text to speech

*2026-07-14*

Beautiful app. Is it possible to add text to speech? So for every interval a TTS will read out the label of that interval? Thanks ❤️

### 5/5 — Best timer app

*2026-06-01, version 7.6.2*

I have used so many timer apps in this app crushes the competition so nice to even have a server that you can send to friends and other people so they can see what times things are at what’s even better is that it’s not a subscription I wouldn’t have bought it if it was so I’m going Service without a subscription. Meaning you can do one of their servers to see what the current times are at counts up by whatever intervals you want or subtract by whatever intervals you want can customize it with the name and the icon and the colors such a great app. I love that there’s pages that you can name for different things like various games you may play exercising if it’s something you counter time so far I found everything that I need in this app great stuff for strength training being able to do reps 25 seconds on 10 seconds off 25 seconds on 10 seconds off all in one timer. Such a fantastic app I’ve been using it for about five years.

### 5/5 — Been using for a few year for more than just a stopwatch

*2026-06-01, version 7.6.2*

I have been using for about 4 year. Fantastic app. I not only use the countdown or stopwatch, I use the other timers and counters. I use it to time my warm ups, good behaviour scores for my kids, studying using the pomodoro time. Brilliant you won’t regret it.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-05-30, version 7.6.2*

Perfect timer app. Does everything I need and more. Highly recommend.

### 3/5 — Has a Fatal Flaw

*2026-05-26, version 7.6.2*

I think this is a wonderful app. Its purpose is straightforward to understand. If you have ADHD, a collection of pre-set timers that you can use to alert yourself to the status of ongoing timed tasks, is likely very important and useful to you. I use the app, for example, every laundry day to alert myself of the end of my washer and dryer cycles.

But speaking as an iPhone user, there’s a big flaw with the app, and it’s sort of not its fault. Unlike the default IOS clock app, your timers won’t make any sound when they go off in silent mode. They also don’t go off continuously until you notice. Like any app notification, they ding for a few seconds and don’t come up again.

Now, I get what you might say, “Well, just keep your phone on you with the volume high” and I’ll remind you that I use this app because of ADHD. It’s to be expected that I forgot I had timers set, that I turned my volume down low, that I took my phone off my person, etc. The irony of this app, is that in order for it to work, you have to be very alert to it working in the background, and keep checking it over and over, in case you missed an alert.

### 5/5 — Good

*2026-05-23, version 7.6.2*

Very handy

### 5/5 — Exactly What I Wanted — No Frills Timer

*2026-05-21, version 7.6.2*

Other apps are paid but this one works for free plus has a minimal UI. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a timer. Plus no iOS alarm noises. Just a simple buzz or ring

### 5/5 — Outstanding timer app

*2026-05-17, version 7.6.2*

I’ve been using it daily for years for all sorts of activities which overlap: eg laundry, the oven, and a scheduled call can all be counting off simultaneously, whether they’re set by numbers of minutes/hours/days, or by the exact time of day. It provides options to color code, set a different sound for each (including sounds I create myself), or to set different types of timers. Incredibly versatile yet easy to use. Plus, it’s attractive.

### 5/5 — Super useful

*2026-05-11, version 7.6.2*

I was looking for a timer and I tried out a bunch of different ones. This one is perfect. You can have a screen with a bunch of different timers running at the same time and starting stopping and adding more time is super easy. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — One of the best apps I use

*2026-05-11, version 7.6.2*

I have boards of timers set up for work, exercise, kids, and daily routines. Simple concept but very powerful. Critical for organising my life.

### 4/5 — Use it daily

*2026-05-06, version 7.6.1*

Even after years of owning this app, I use it multiple times a day. My dogs and my cats get timers for food and for snacks, so I can denote how long ago they each ate. If too much time passes, an alarm goes off. Essential for my everyday life.

UPDATE: now that this app has been programmed to show the running timers in the Dynamic Island and lock screen, I have to go through the extra step of closing them down 3 or 4 times a day. It’s very annoying, more so because this was a 5-star product before the developers intentionally programmed in an annoyance.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Change broke timer

*2026-08-06, version 7.7.1*

I went from loving this app to hating it. I went through the trouble of creating an interval timer that had multiple steps and cycles. Originally the sounds were at the beginning of the interval but when during a change to the software they moved the sound to the end of the step. I spent the extra money so I could export my timers to other accounts which I also spent the extra money for - but now the time no longer works. Additionally another inconvenience in this software is when you export and import a time to another account the voice recordings don’t follow.

### 1/5 — Love it, but…

*2026-07-29, version 7.7.2*

Timers can’t restart automatically once completed

Also why are the alarms so damn loud? You cant listen to music or a podcast or youll get bombarded by rhe noise

### 1/5 — Best timer APP out there

*2026-07-10, version 7.7.1*

I gave this a massive 1 star because I don’t know why , Well done if you are reading this

### 1/5 — So close to incredibly useful, but unfortunately useless

*2026-06-23, version 7.7.1*

When the timer goes off, if my phone is on silent (which it pretty much always is), there is no alert sound making the timer useless. This is not how the built in Apple alarms work. My alarm will go off even if my phone is on silent because that is the entire point of an alarm. The alarms need to go off loud even if phone is silenced, or at least there needs to be an option to enable this mode of function.

### 1/5 — Poor integration to Apple Watch

*2026-05-23, version 7.6.2*

Alerts on the watch are received like a message and so are too easy to miss. So…. it’s pretty useless as a timer!

### 1/5 — Pretty good timer app

*2026-05-18, version 7.6.2*

Works well on the phone. Apple Watch integration isn’t where it should be though. Eg Siri on the watch can’t start the timer, only a tap on a shortcut can. Took forever to get the app to talk to the watch and still there is lag and bugs. Eg if you run a timer on the phone it’ll show up on the watch but you can’t control it on the watch. There’s no stop or reset possibility. So for me it’s a meh.

### 1/5 — How to unsubscribe?

*2026-05-06, version 7.6.1*

App support doesn’t exist and can’t unsubscribe.

### 1/5 — Good. Could use a tweak

*2026-03-28, version 7.5.1*

I’ve noticed the rings on the timers shift while counting down in fullscreen mode. May have something to do with the amount of digits decreasing as the time counts down. With that adjusted, this app would be perfect.

### 1/5 — Constantly asks for review

*2026-03-18, version 7.5*

Constantly bugs me for a review, hence one star

### 1/5 — Sound doesn’t work when iphone is locked

*2026-03-11, version 7.5*

If there’s a way to get the sound to work after your iPhone auto locks I can’t find it. When you hit the App Support button in the store page it loops you to webpage of all the developers apps and then brings you back to the store page in a continuous loop.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — MultiTimer with MultiBenefits

*2026-08-09, version 7.8*

**Always reliable and does exactly what I need**

This timer app has great feature with the ability to create groups of timers, arranged in different ways based on how you use them, and lots of types of timers (stopwatch, count down, count up, etc). Once created the timers can be quickly accessed and started using either the phone or Apple Watch, which is a welcome change compared to the built-in Apple timer. I bought the pro version and have been happy with my purchase. The only additional feature I would like is to be able to set up custom sounds and alarms. With that added feature this app would be perfect!

p.s. I love that you can export your created timers from one device and import them into another.

### 5/5 — Great Timer

*2026-07-15, version 7.7.2*

Timer-Stop Watch, Simple-Colorful-Reliable, Enough Said!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-07-05, version 7.7.2*

Been using since September 2020. Still one of my favorite & most used apps.

### 5/5 — Best timer app

*2026-06-30, version 7.7.1*

I tried a bunch of timer apps and settled in this one. It’s such a useful tool! I especially appreciate the flexibility with all the different clock options & customizations. I really love the ability to share the clock to other people’s devices. Plus it’s a nice looking simple interface.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-06-21, version 7.7.1*

Works as intended

### 5/5 — Only thing id add is the decimal place

*2026-06-18, version 7.7.1*

Add the decimal place to the counters

### 5/5 — Useful

*2026-06-14, version 7.7*

This is a handy timer. It works well and is designed to do a quick method of timing multiple songs in a performance.

### 5/5 — Nice Offline Tracker

*2026-06-13, version 7.7*

MultiTimer is one of the most useful productivity apps I have ever used. The interface is clean, simple, intuitive, and powerful, making it easy to manage multiple timers simultaneously without confusion.

What I appreciate most is the flexibility of the app. Whether I need timers for work, studying, workouts, cooking, or daily routines, MultiTimer handles everything reliably and efficiently. The ability to organize timers into boards and customize them for different purposes makes it stand out from other timer applications.

The app is stable, well-designed, and clearly developed with attention to user experience. I have tried many timer apps over the years, but MultiTimer is the one that has remained on my device because it simply works and helps me stay organized.

### 5/5 — Long-Time App

*2026-06-11, version 7.7*

Been using this app for almost a decade! It’s versatile and helpful

### 5/5 — So useful on watch and phone

*2026-06-07, version 7.7*

As a diabetic I use MultiTimer to time taking my blood sugar after I eat, as well as timing steeping my tea, how long the ribs have been on the smoker, and lots of other things. It is great to be able to start the timer on my Apple Watch and then see the progress on my iPhone - something that the default Apple apps do not provide.
