The app works on my iPhone but is small so I use my iPad but after this update the app loads the graphics appear and then it blacks out. I have a lot of memory and tried reload won't. Please fix!!!! ### 4/5 — Five-Star Effort *2021-03-27, version 2.4* Really beautiful app and virtual social space for a chill crowd that circumvents many of the expectations of gamification. It was particularly spectacular when the giant space hosted multiple streams of different musicians in early September 2020. I only gave it four stars because it causes my phone (iphone 11 Pro) to heat up, and also I can’t get the March 2021 event to run at all—the app just crashes. ### 3/5 — Mic problems *2020-09-09, version 1.6* The microphone definitely is an issue. Sometimes it would work sometimes it wouldn’t sometimes you could hear people talking but they couldn’t hear you. Volumes seem quiet, and chats are hit or miss. I was open for more of an open mic experience. I do think it’s worth the donation to support their efforts which is what motives a 4-star rating! Clearly they have to figure out how to load elements vs a 3.5 GB app! Wow! My biggest challenge for me is not being able to teleport to specific locations. There is no index to move around and see events. The big map is outside of the app. This is a version beta. When the dust settles, can all the virtual burn developers come together on one platform? On the real, it’s waaaayyyy more social in BRCvr but this has an edge visually. The biggest what???—> It’s missing Center Camp!!! Buy it and have fun! Tried closing all other apps, hard rebooting the device, making sure phone is fully charged, etc., but get the same results. Notice it crashes when user approaches anything with laser effects and/or sound stages. Sadly this idea just isn’t a winner without much more QA. ### 1/5 — Beta at best *2020-09-06, version 1.5* Moving past the 3 gigabyte download, the $8 “donation” required to enter, the 3 lackluster outfit combinations everyone wears, this app is beta at best. I just don’t get it. Burn night. Updated the app as directed. Crashes every 3 mins. Each time you reopen you get dropped at the same location and have to backtrack to where you were. It’s like when you get killed in a bad 80’s video game and have to start over again. Super Mario anyone? ### 1/5 — No bueno *2020-09-05, version 1.4* Waste of 8 bucks. It generates your unique ID to use to invite others but when they key in the numbers, it “became” their unique ID numbers. I had tried multiple times.
