There are much better apps out there. Midwife’s encourage the use of this app but as a first time mum I can’t say I’ve been informed of anything I don’t already know. What to expect or Pregnancy + are better apps ### 1/5 — Terrible *2022-04-01, version 4.1.3* App crashes alot and has alot of bugs, always asked if I have the app but the app is pointless 🤷🏻‍♀️ ### 1/5 — Don’t bother downloading *2022-01-20, version 4.1.1* Was recommended to download this app but I can’t add my due date (the app immediately crashes) & when I input my appointments the timings are all wrong & can’t be edited. Really a waste of time. ### 1/5 — Just doesn’t work *2022-01-01, version 4.1.1* Every appointment I go to, my midwife wants to check I am using this app. But it just doesn’t work. It’s crashed every single time I’ve opened it. First I see the ‘enter your due date’ screen, I tap to enter the due date and it crashes. Every time. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, tried installing on a different phone, nothing works. I have an iPhone SE 2020, my husband has the newest Samsung phone, between the two of us we have two of the most common phones. There’s no excuse for this app not to work at all on either of them. If the NHS are putting as much weight on this app as it seems like they are from my appointments, it’s obviously very important that it actually work. Our local midwife unit was shut down during covid, there are barely any midwives or nurses available at the local hospital. I’m pregnant and scared, there’s no one to talk to and all I have is this useless, broken app. ### 1/5 — Can’t find my area *2021-10-17, version 4.1.0* The closest maternity unit it shows is 34 mil away. Does not show the units near me. ### 1/5 — The worst App *2021-07-17, version 4.0.9* My midwife told me to download this to record my birthing plan. The app lost all the data randomly one day at 32 weeks along. I am so angry with it because it’s basically been a waste of time and energy. The videos never had audio and frankly every other pregnancy app I’ve used has been better then it. ### 1/5 — Mum *2021-01-26, version 4.0.2* I was told to download this app but I’m not in north west London and can’t change the settings to my area ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2020-12-15, version 4.0.2* What a terrible app no help what so ever I no which are my local 2 hospitals which my mum gave birth at one of them and had all her care for all 6 children at that hospital and my local hospitals are coming up ridiculous amounts of miles away useless app don’t bother downloading ### 2/5 — Pretty basic and incomplete advice *2020-04-21, version 4.0.2* Missing tons of stuff about care after birth for example. And food some advice not good, incomplete and not detailed enough. It’s as if c sections don’t exist. App is still glitchy with problems. Can’t enter any of my many appointment dates in as won’t allow to save with empty fields, even when all the fields are completed. Website crashed as always. Don’t quote sure why they kept such terrible system. Like a previous reviewers commented it keeps crashing and their issue was a year ago. Not sure why as I’ve updated it in Feb 2023. It just loads to a screen 'Checking for updates' and never progresses from there. ### 1/5 — Pointless 👎🏼 *2023-02-14, version 4.1.6* Ever since I downloaded the app it’s stuck on the Wellcome page saying checking for update. I killed the app and relaunched, uninstalled and installed multiple times, restarted the phone too. Does nothing.
