### 5/5 — Get this app if your a Munro bagger

*2024-09-15*

I downloaded this app to bag my first Munro and it was great. I really like the weather feature so you can see which Munro’s have the best conditions and there are helpful descriptions for each. When you bag a Munro on the app you can add photos from your hike and in the community section you can see other photos from other baggers!

### 5/5 — Great map

### 5/5 — Great

### 5/5 — Great wee app

*2023-10-23*

I stated bagging Munros in July and it’s satisfying to see the map slowly turning green as I tick it off.

Also having the list too which has the date you bagged each one is nice.

### 5/5 — Fab app

*2023-06-25*

Great that you have a map and can tick off which ones you’ve done. Only downside is I think it would be nice if you could attach a picture to the ones you’ve completed so it’s more personal

**Developer response:** Hi SarahNicoll! Thanks for the feedback :) Pictures & reviews are in the pipeline! Keep en eye out ;)

### 5/5 — Great for logging Munro bags

*2023-05-04*

I used to track my bagged Munros and climbs in with a old fashioned notepad and pen. This app is a great digital alternative for keeping all my walks in once place with the added benefit of being able to plan out my next walk.

Would be great to be able to add notes to the log book

### 5/5 — Best app for tracking munros!

*2023-03-31*

This is a great app! The simple, sleek design makes it really easy to navigate and keep track of the munros already done, as well as planning and finding new ones to do. It’s quite unique to have weather integrated into a trails app like this.

Another bonus is there’s no collecting or selling of my user data, also no ads, making it really user friendly. Love it 👌🎉

### 5/5 — A must have app for hill walkers!

*2023-03-28*

Love the app, super user friendly and looks/feels great. Already marked all of the Munros I’ve bagged and it’s inspired me to get out and bag some more

### 5/5 — Super Useful!

*2023-03-27*

Amazing app! No unnecessary features, sleek design which is easy to navigate and use!

I used the website before and I’ll definitely be using this for my future Munro Bagging!!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Can’t update profile picture

*2025-02-27, version 2025.014*

Nice app, can’t upload profile picture.

### 4/5 — Great if you want to see where your at with munrows

*2025-10-17*

Love this app but would add gps to see munrows close to you but otherwise great app

**Developer response:** Thanks Patrick. GPS on the way…got some other features to release first 🥳

### 4/5 — New map format

*2025-08-15*

I’m afraid I don’t like the new ‘Explore’ format - less easy to discern those bagged and still waiting

### 4/5 — CSV

*2025-05-10*

Hi there, fantastic app, over the years so have had various ways of logging the hills I’ve climbed, including excel logs. Do you think you could please add the option to upload a cab file to input data into your bagged list? If not then at least the function to download all your data into a CSV would be absolutely amazing.
The second thing that would make this so so good would be the ability to search for areas, not just hills.
Thanks so much. 😊

### 4/5 — Helpful

*2025-04-21*

Really cute way of documenting your triumps. Just wish it worked for whole of UK so i can document any i do south of Scotland.

### 4/5 — Review

*2025-01-13*

The app is great and I’d probably rate it a 4.75 stars if I could. My only issue with the app which is a very minor but I think it’d be great if the Scottish Gaelic names for the Munros were also there to help people learn the names a bit better. Thanks.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the kind words! 🙏

I’ll add Gaelic to my list of todos.

### 4/5 — Forecast question

*2024-06-12*

Great app, enjoying adding Munro's bagged over many years! One question: what are the grey and green bars shown on the weather forecast for each Munro? Thanks!

**Developer response:** These are the temperature ranges throughout the day

### 4/5 — Okay as a basic logbook but it could be lots better

*2024-01-31*

Most people logging Munro’s like to make a few personal notes about who they walked with, the weather and winter or summer.
This app is simple to use and acts as a basic log but before I commit to adding my entire Munro loogbook it would be great to know where or how I can attach a few notes to each Munro. Can the developer help me in case I’ve missed where to access a notes tab. Thank you

**Developer response:** Hi Chris,

Notes/Photos are being actively worked on and I expect to have this released in the coming weeks

### 5/5 — Excellent App

### 5/5 — Simples

### 5/5 — Excellent iOS app for Bagging

*2025-08-21*

Cool that you can go back in and edit plus add 3 summit photos, would be great to add the subsidiary tops like Beinn a' Chròin East Top 940 m and many others. Maybe for a future update for crazy baggers like me!

### 5/5 — Excellent App

*2025-07-21, version 2025.046*

Very basic and meaningful, it makes a significant difference from complicated apps. Great to track munros. Perhaps writing the Gaelic name under the Munro as a suggestion?

### 5/5 — Update to my review on 18 July

*2024-09-16*

I have to change my review now from 1 star to 5. Communication from John has been brilliant and we managed to identify the cause of the issue I had. Since then John was able to write a fix and it has totally changed my experience. Thanks John.
I can now comfortable give 5 stars across UI/UX, Functionality, Performance, Content Quality, Price and Customer Support.

**Developer response:** Please send an email to hello@munrobagger.scot if you’re having issues.

This isn’t a known bug, nobody has reported it and I’m unable to reproduce it. So please attach a video or screenshot.
