„Munții Noștri” este un nume de care își amintesc cu nostalgie fanii colecției publicate de editura Sport-Turism între anii 1974-1992 și un ghid turistic actual sub o formă nouă, bazat pe cele mai noi tehnici de cartografiere și un conținut actualizat. 
Pe parcursul anilor, utilizarea aplicației Munții Noștri și-a dovedit eficiența și potențialul de a salva vieți în situații critice pe munte, prin conținutul și caracteristicile sale: 
• fiecare traseu este prezentat cu indicații de orientare clare, descriere, segmente(le) cu probleme de orientare datorită marcajelor rare sau șterse, surse de apă etc.
• traseele au detalii tehnice utile și un grafic al traseului
• fiecare regiune montană cuprinde o listă a traseelor omologate până la momentul publicării hărții fizice, parcurse cu GPS-ul în teren

Versiunea curentă a aplicaţiei Munţii Noştri are o abordare și mai aproape de nevoile comunității, astfel:
• oferă posibilitatea descărcării traseelor și hărților aferente, cuprinzând grupe montane și regiuni (județe) pentru utilizare offline
• fiecare traseu este prezentat cu puncte de interes și de reper, cu o descriere detaliată a obiectivelor turistice din zonă 
• utilizatorul poate filtra traseele în funcție de tipul de traseu (drumetie, ciclism s.a.), regiunea (județ), sau zona montană, caracteristicile traseului (dificultate, durată, distanță de parcurs și ascensiune totală) sau împreună cu traseele descărcate în telefon
• limbile incluse in aplicației: română sau engleză
• utilizatorul poate distribui linkul traseului pe rețelele sociale, mail, în note personale sau direct prin mesaje pe telefon
• aplicația folosește straturi vectoriale care afișează hărți detaliate, cu obiective înregistrate pe baza coordonatelor GPS pentru orientare eficientă
• fiecare traseu prezintă informații meteo din localitatea apropiată
• optiunea de planificare disponibila in modul online

Aplicația Muntii Nostri folosește locația dvs. pentru a calcula distanța până la trasee și a le arăta pe cele mai apropiate, pentru a vă arăta locația pe hartă și pentru a înregistra trasee noi.

"Muntii Nostri" is a modern travel guide, created using the latest mapping techniques and updated content.
Over the years, the use of Muntii Nostri application has proven its effectiveness and potential to save lives in critical situations up on the mountains, through its content and features: 

• each trail comes with clear directions, a description and (where appropriate) observations about seasonality, sections where directions might be unclear due to trail markings that are scarce or barely visible, information about water sources, etc.
• all trails have useful technical details and a graph
• each mountain region contains a list of approved trails to the date when the map was published, all based on GPS tracks

The current version of Muntii Nostri application has an approach that is even closer to the needs of the community:
• the user can download maps and trails for offline use
• each trail comes with a detailed description of the tourist attractions in the area (where applicable)
• the user can select filter values such as trail type (hiking, cycling), region (county), the mountain area, trail characteristics (difficulty, duration) or together with the trails downloaded on the phone
• GPS metrics
• Share functionality
• planning option available in online mode

Muntii Nostri app uses your location to calculate the distance to tracks and show the closest ones, to show your location on the map and record new tracks.

În mod deosebit încă nu mi-a plăcut niciodată cum funcționează aplicația, dar pe moment găsesc o grămadă de meniuri goale sau prost funcționale. Am șters aplicația am reinstalat-o, iar acum nici nu mă mai pot loga.

Works well offline, quite accurate with few errors. Didn’t drain battery massively. Definitely worth paying for it as it’s very cheap and doesn’t require a renewable subscription. Used it without downloading any track as I don’t like the idea but was able to pinpoint my location within seconds.

Diese App hat uns im Team mit der Karte in der Coronazeit, in der viele Touristeninformationen geschlossen waren, viele schöne Wanderungen ermöglicht. Vielen Dank daher dafür! Eine Refugi- Hütte, die zwischen Baia Sprie und Breb eingetragen war, existiert nicht (mehr).

I think the new update brought a lot of bad reviews and it seems they are right because  the app has become useless most of the time. It's not too late to admit you were wrong and go back to what it was.
