Murmur is an app that slows down with you.

Sounds generated live. A breathing circle that pulses with your rhythm. A draggable timer dial. A quiet record of every night you've been here.

Morning, afternoon, evening, late night. Each has its own mood. One tap to the quiet that fits this hour.

Sounds · 28 live textures
Rain, ocean, wind, fireplace, café, crickets, birds. Layer any of them, tune each volume in place. A live mix strip at the top keeps you anchored to what's actually playing.

Breath · six rhythms
4-7-8, Box, Calm, Energize, Deep, Coherent. A three-layer circle pulses to your chosen pace. Background sound is an opt-in toggle, never a surprise.

Timer · 1 to 120 minutes
Drag the dial to set. The center shows the exact stop time. Sound fades gently over your last minutes.

Presets · 17 curated + your own
Cozy Night, Ocean Calm, Deep Focus, Meditation, Rainy Café, Thunderstorm. Save your own mix into "My Presets" in one tap.

Stats · the journey
Streak, today's minutes, a 30-day heatmap, top sounds. Nothing leaves your phone.

Four things in this update — three of which exist so you can show Murmur to a
  friend.

  • Share a preset: long-press any preset card and tap "Share". The message
  bundles a deep link plus the App Store URL, so receivers without Murmur have a
   one-tap install path.
  • Share my journey: tap the share button in Stats to generate a sage-toned
  1080×1920 image card — streak, heatmap, total minutes, all on one tile. Reads
  great on Stories, iMessage, or 朋友圈.
  • Control Center toggle (iOS 18): pin a Murmur button to Control Center and
  play / pause from anywhere without opening the app.
  • Three new scenes: Cat Nap (purr + heartbeat + warm brown noise), Heart
  Coherence (synced heartbeat + drone + quiet), Spring Garden (songbirds +
  rustling leaves + chimes + brook).

  • Fresh look: a forest-toned redesign with a new app icon. Sage green from icon through to every screen — closer to what Murmur
  really is, the quiet of nature.

  • Siri Shortcuts: say "Play Deep Focus" or "Start a 30-minute sleep timer" without opening the app.
  • Apple Health: completed breathing sessions log to Mindful Minutes. Opt-in, off by default, and Murmur never reads any Health data.

  • Home Screen widgets are retuned — wordmark, glow dot, and spacing all redrawn.
